It is possible by pure summoner or mage with this mod?

I am ranger now, but i have tried some basic magic and It is weak. With meele weapon i can one shot weak targer. With basic fire flames i can not. I have to uses a lot of mana. Same for summoner. Summons are only for limited times so It Is diffucult to fight with them.

I would to master magic and use It as my primary weapon but It is possible?

Absolutely. It takes a slight bit more management on the mage's part, but I was totally playing a necro named Bainlan The Odd for a while.

One of the benefits of the conjuration tree was that you got to summon daedra that would be 120% your own level eventually. Now that's significant because a tank like that when you're level 50 is a pretty serious tank. The undead spells didn't seem as potent though. But that was from 1.2 version. I've yet to try this new version. Bout to crack it open right now.

You can use http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23876/? with http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29375/? to get the crossbows to go thru the reproccer.

OK, but summons are only for 90s?

How about mana. I am not able to enchant my armor to lower mana consumption like in Skyrim. So i can fire fireball 3 times and than what?
I have tried Firebolt and it has lower damage than shotbow and a lot of meele wepons. And It cost 70 mana!

This is crazy, because Firebold Is low level spell and on level 10 i can have 200 Mana. So i can use Super Firebold 2,8 times. What I am able to kill with that?

When i use 2H hammer i can strike more times power attack and power attack do a lot of damage.

If your posts about mages parallel your posts about archers at all, I'm guessing you haven't invested any points into magicka. If you plan on casting spells, you're going to need that. Secondly, spells in SkyRe scale with your skill in that associated school of magic. So if you're casting fireball as an archer with the base 15/ 10 in Destruction and no magicka...yea it's gonna be crap. It gets more and more potent, essentially leveling up with you.

most character starts are a bit rough in skyre, destruction mages have it even rougher
the basic attacks (flame & such) are the most efficient in damage/mana ratio
also there are touch version of spells that cost less mana at first

you can also try to be a blood mage to reduce mana costs

my advise for most cases : get a follower to tank for you, stock up on potions they are great !!!

Also, remember what I said about the Stamina debuff. That applies to everyone, including mages. As your stamina bar gets low, spells cost more to cast. There's a debuff for a low Health bar as well. When your health is at its lowest, spells are weaker and incoming spell damage is greater.

In the SkyRe guide, take a look at the charts on pages 88 and 89 (or whatever they are now in the 1.3 guide). At 100-95% Stamina, you deal 10% more damage, spells cost 10% less, and enjoy 3% faster movement speed. A nice buff. From 79%-0%, you get increasingly extreme versions of less weapon damage dealt, more weapon damage taken, higher casting cost, and less blocking effectiveness. At 100-95% Health, you get 5% greater spell magnitude, 5% more weapon damage, 5% less incoming weapon damage, and 3% greater movement speed. By the time you reach 9-0% of your Health bar, your spells are significantly weaker, enemy spells are much stronger, your weapon damage is weaker, your movement speed is slowed, and you block a bit better.

Basically, try to stay in the happy high part of all your bars in order to avoid debuffs. Potions are your best friend.

And after testing with just SkyRe + ASIS the fight with Vilkas in Take Up Arms stops properly after a few hits. No instagib, no endless fight, just the quest properly completing.

I hate mod conflicts, so much. Such a pain to figure out.

EDIT: After enabling mods one by one I ended up finding the mod that was breaking the Vilkas quest Take Up Arms. There are three mods that cause issues with this quest, but only one that prevented completion.

- Footprints: This mod stopped the quest from working completely. Out of the 6 times I tried, it failed to complete after a few hits on Vilkas every time. It resulted in an endless fight where he eventually just instantly killed me with one hit via killcam.

- Player Headtracking: It stopped his dialog early, made him say "Who's there!?", and caused him to attack but it finished fine after a few hits on him.

- Wet and Cold: Same as Player Headtracking

It seems like all three mods put some sort of spell on your character to get the effects of each mod, which is the reason it for the early stopped dialog. No idea what the issue is with Footprints, which is a shame. I really like that mod.

@whismerhill But I love that rough early start. One of my favorite starts in the game is with the Live Another Life mod, the 'attacked and left for dead' start. You start naked and even looting a nearby corpse nets you only some fine clothing and fine hats and a speech skill book. No weapon. No armor. It's so thrilling having to scavenge for everything and be strategic in how you get your first bit of gear. I typically lose interest in a character once they get so established that nothing can touch them. And no amount of added quest/ DLC content can renew that like starting over can.
