jaysus, you obviously don't realize what is currently going on.

AlienSlof never quit modding.

She pulled her mods off public servers for a period of time and has been hosting them on her own site and slowly re-uploading them to TESNexus now that the comments and voting can be disabled.

@LH nah i understand that you still can get her mods at the hive but i doubt many people will find that place or even have the will to search that hard for a good mod... those that know her will surely follow her to that place and get what they need but all those people who dont know her wont
thus i personally object her step as i cant stand someone as important as her putting herself in such a place... shes bound to be famous, well spread and wellknown not rotting in her hive breeding aliens
i also doubt that shell be making many more mods if she doesnt get the attention she surely needs like all artists do... but getting attention if youre secluded in your eremit style cottage is hard if not to say impossible
id really appreciate her coming back...

Firstly: I'm no more important than any other modder. I'm just me.

Secondly, I mod for me, not for getting attention. For as many mods as I've made public, I probably have nearly as many personal ones that never see the light of day except in my own game. I don't need attention, or ratings, or top 100's. Constructive comments would have been nice, but some people have no sense of spirit of the thing.

Basically, I can do whatever I see fit with my work - which incidentally I have been posting back up here and even updating them with new stuff as I go.

Rotting in my hive breeding aliens is also extremely rude. I can do what I want where my mods are concerned.

Yes, Slof, I tend to agree about the rude statement(s) he made. Seems to be a pattern with this one (especially when looking at his profile). Seemed like the start of a compliment but ended up more like a slap in the face. I suppose he needs more practice in the fine arts of giving compliments. hehehe...that is a little inside saying between me and my wife.

im sorry if you felt insulted lol really i can be quite direct sometimes yaya sry again but rudeness is truth as i see it (ill try to write around my opinion in the future to please you people tho)....

but 1st youre not just some modder... i personally think you made some vast advancements in tes modding which profitted all of us, also you improved many other mods which would not have been possible without you... things only few of us did and thus i used the word i used to express my feelings and in my mind retreating to be left forgotten or whatever is not the right way

well maybe im wrong and youre an exceptional artist cause usually all need some kind of attention, me included lol

and of course you can do what ever you want with your mods but plz keep all those people who appreciate your modding in mind...

I couldn't agree more with what you said.

I cut my self off from those idiots then slowly returned and found my self back in the same hell hole i had left. I accepted life was unfair and set out to prove I could be unfair too those getting at me. That got me moderated on this website. Not totally undeserved but then again, any court would say I was provoked 10x over. Still getting moderated was the kick in the ass I needed.

I finally cut all the links I had with the places were my trouble came from, Eg beths forum, ratings and comments on here and directed everything to my forum where I am admin and if they step out of line over there, i can be as unfair I wish and there's nothing they can do about it.

And guess what, everybody remembers their manners now.

No trouble at all, in fact im actually enjoying making mods again and am happy most days rather than angry. Its amazing what the threat of an instant Ban does to peoples moods over there and here too hehe.

But Polite behavour should be automatic and not an optional extra don't you think ?
Shame I allowed them to drag me down to their level but after 2 years of constant abuse, Its hard not to be effected by it.

I rarely get thanks even when I help people solve their problems. hehehe. But I don't really need to be thanked...I do this out of the need to give back to a community I feel has given me much more than I could give back. FYI - About 25% of those I moderated fess up that they were outta line, another 15 to 25% agree they deserved it but continue to point fingers as if deflecting blame, <1% argue or ignore the warnings, the rest remain dead silent.

I'm truly glad that modding is again enjoyable for you. It makes all the difference in the world being able to do something that 1. you enjoy, 2. you are good at, 3. doesn't cost you anything but time (unlike my AR-15 hobby!)

I think your too modest LH, aside from the exceptional job you do helping to moderate this site, you have made numerous unsolicited contributions to a number of mod projects as well as working on your own projects. I'd say your on par and much appreciation for all your contributions.

As for you AS, just keep kicking ass and taking names, you know we love you for it.

Yup im with worm, I may not like being moderated but i am here because this website does keep things under control and has a good moderating team. I know the community can be bitchy so i know its not an easy job.

An 8 page thread slagging me off on beths forum a few months back went totally unmoderated by anybody until i turned up and posted a comment (I was polite). Then and only then did the moderators suddenly close it. An 8 page breach of their own rules more or less said it all to me about beths moderator team.

I even had some of the moderators over there acting like the people that where constantly having a go at me more than once. It made me wonder who they where making moderators over there but i did start to understand why everybody has such a negative attitude on that forum upon seeing that happen.

Needless say, i am a lot happier to be away from that website and with the comments here turned off too, its bliss

Hell, im posting on this forum too, so things much be better
