1. Caesar's Legion
2. House's New Vegas
3. Midwestern BOS

I'm assuming you mean the reports you're writing, not new mod features.

I was wondering something about the treaty between the TSC and Mr House. I've only played New Vegas on XBox so I don't know the details that may have appeared in the Strip Embassy mod.

When the TSC arrived in Vegas after (I presume) the first battle at Hoover Dam, did Mr House include an agreement for the embassy that the TSC would remain neutral in the NCR/Caesar's Legion war? I'm sure that with a super power like the TSC on the NCR's side would turn the tide of war in the NCR's favor and I'm sure House would like to keep that stalemate in place for his benefit.

So officially the TSC would not get involved in this conflict. Unofficially the TSC can help the NCR in small ways like providing intel on Legion activity.

If anyone who has played the New Vegas mod in depth please let me know if this has been mentioned. It would be much appreciated.

NCR isn't really a strategic ally of the TSC. At most, they're more of the "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" persuasion. Long-term, NCR wants to expand their territory, just like the TSC. At some point, they will come into conflict. The TSC would be incompetent, if not downright stupid, to allow a strategic competitor to control New Vegas. Staying out of the NCR-Legion War would simply be good policy.

I don't really see any problem with NCR occupying New Vegas as long as the TSC get to keep their embassy and Big MT facility. Regardless of which faction you are working for (except the Legion of course) you normally tend to help the NCR out anyway. I'm not saying the NCR is perfect but it seems logical to maintain good diplomatic relations with a group of it's size if you want to resurrect civilisation.

As for competing for territory, that territory will most likely be in land that Caesar occupied. I doubt that NCR would launch a campaign into those territories so quickly after securing Hoover Dam. They were struggling to hold Vegas before the Courier helped them. Even if they were inclined to invade Legion territory (or decided to wait for whats left of the Legion to destroy themselves due to infighting in the inevitable power vacuum after Caesar's and Lanius's deaths) they would have to come from the west while the TSC can attack from the east and occupy more territory more quickly than the NCR could.

I'm not saying that NCR would win against the TSC (they'd get chewed up and spat back out like yesterday's dog vomit), but there would be casualties. If there is a path to victory without blood on it, any competent leader would take it. Battle is a necessary evil, best avoided; why destroy your enemy's/competitor's might when you can manipulate and deceive your way into capturing it intact?

I think it would be awesome if the TSC found something in the solar system, like perhaps a super-secret prewar moon base that had been cut off from Earth.

There's also a lot that could be done with the aliens. How about if a TSC scientist decrypted some alien logs that gave clues to their homeworld?

I was thinking something on Mars, actually. If the base was on the Moon, then either A) it would have been leveled when the Alien Mothership crashed, or B) they would have already tried salvaging it by the time you got there, so there would be evidence of their existence.

That might work better, actually. If the alien mothership(s) have been hanging around near-Earth orbit for very long, which they very likely have, they'd probably have noticed *some* trace of an Earth-tech moonbase. Those ships probably have all manner of sensor arrays and scanners mounted.
