LOL ridiculous!

I'm surprised Prima is still in business actually. Every time I see one of their hard copy "strategy guides" I think, "Who needs that crap? I have the Internet!"

I have an Android phone and an Android tablet - there are quite a few cool Skyrim related free apps in the Android market. I use Alchemy Helper on my Asus Transformer quite a lot while playing. It wasn't free - but it is definitely worth 99 cents. ;)

I hope this is a very poor and bad joke.

I'm going to take a more balanced approach. I think it's a cool and convenient idea to be able to have a searchable, interactive map of the game that can be accessed easily and portably on a cell phone or, in cases such as mine, an Android-based ebook reader such as the Nook Color. Sometimes it's convenient to have such a thing to look at while you've got your game going (rather than tabbing out and going online) and it also seems like it could be a fun and somewhat useful time-waster in and of itself.

That said, I paid 25 bucks for the limited edition hardcover strategy guide. Not that I figured I would need it (though it HAS come in handy on several occasions) but because I knew that it would make a cool keepsake. You're telling me that I'd have to pay nearly half that just for a digital map?

No.

Why can't the in-game map be like this?
*sigh*

Please, by all means...if you paid for this, let the rest of us know how it, um works. We won't laugh at you.

Much.

Does it come with horse armor? That's what I think of when I look at that, an overpriced item that nobody in their right mind will use.
