@phreatophile that was funny haha i have tears in my eyes of laughing lol:P

Ya, I laughed a little at myself afterward. But I wants my skyrim and I don't want to fiddle with this .txt load order bit right now, especially since I don't fully understand how this will work with my bashed patch and so on.

But, yes, LOL

No matter how many times I tell steam to NOT UPDATE... it still does it.

You can order them in the Skyrim launcher until utilities get updated. It's not great, but it works (for active plugins).

K thank you. Did they change the way BSA's work so we no longer have to add BSA's to the ini? Eg, should I just regenerate and load the highres bsa's?

Actually... did they fix the highres DLC issues?
EDIT: Lol they didnt fix them.

Some are reporting that copy/paste your load order (I know you can do this from Wryebash, don't know about NMM) to:

C:\Users\(yourname)\AppData\Local\Skyrim\plugins.txt

works. Don't know for sure.

I don't really know, I haven't tried this yet.

What DOES the .txt file have in it?
If the file you have is generated by the Skyrim Launcher and the .esm files aren't there then probably not.

This is really a question for someone who knows more about this, I was just reporting what someone else said worked for them.

If past performance is indicative of future results, we'll have a quickfix in hours and a more permanant fix in a day or so.

Like wrinklyninja said, a temporary fix is manually sorting your plugins through the normal launcher. Just look at the order in NMM and sort accordingly. It's tedious as hell, but it works.

Presumably asking Steam to deny auto-updates simply reverts back to "always keep updated", and needs to be re-asked every time Steam starts up?
Good to know..
