I was talking about the similarities in the two cases... this and the Encarta one.Which one is oblivion in the screenshots?
![]()
anyway, they stole much... how can they possibly expect to someone to not notice the similarity
if i were them, i would have stolen from less known games![]()
how can they steal from awarded games? (Should i continue with "how can they"?)

As I tried to say in former post. This seems to be something Tri-Synergy got completely unaware... they contracted a developer gamehouse and released what they got. Worse... maybe even Magestic executives were unaware the issue...Well, I've never heard of Tri-Synergy before, being a gamer. So it's still might be inexperience or really limited experience - in combination with incompetence.
Not that it does any difference in the end... The result is already patent, they had to withdraw the game from the shelfs.
Maybe it's even a government conspiracy,

This is the point. When you buy a 'goiaba' (guava?) you don't know if the worm82.. ops the larva is therenosisab, well, it's obvious they weren't aware. A bit too expensive for them for a silly joke, isn't it? But they should've known. No publisher is able to know every design detail in every game, but when it's to such degree... they should've been more attentive. Not buy a cat in a bag.
What to say is, the customer need to learn about what he 'buys' ... look well in the EUL... ops again, in the conditions of the item.

I'm inclined to agree that being a bad joke... so many 'evidences' to be serious. They may very well escape litigation here, after reading the Bethesda thread (post162 had this link http://dead-code.org/home/ ) and then re-examining the trailer it is quite obvious what is going on here. All those stolen assets are nothing more than 2d images of existing 3d gaming environments and I'm not sure they can be sued for that. obviously the game won't make much money but the perpetrator of the fiasco is as stated on the publishers site "on post-release leave" yeah no doubt soaking up the Bermuda sun and laughing his ass off as he spends that substantial advance from Tri-Synergy

It's brilliant really, this relatively unknown 2.5D free for all point and click adventure game engine developer has had over 3000 visitors in the last 24 hours.
Edit: Just Google Limbo Of The Lost and watch as headlines popup on every single gaming site on the Internet, everyone is talking about this and that equals big hit points for Wintermute Engine sites. This is the biggest news in gaming and that is the most hilarious spectacle I have yet seen in this community. Unbelievable!
