Funny, but doubtful. Normally, something like this only serves to hurt everyone involved. I would find it hard to believe that a software publishing company wouldn't have obtained atleast enough solid identification of whoever did this. And since they probably don't want to get heavily sued themselves, they will probably help with any investigation into the matter. I mean, the game sold several thousand copies in several different countries. Some heads will be rolling from this one.hahahahaha i have finally fiqured it out, In the interview Steve Bolvis says his developer name was TRI - LOGIK before changing it to MAJESTIC. Now consider the software this was made on and combine that with the thought of Tri-logic(synergy) and that of a viral ad campaign. I think this has been an elaborate viral advertising hoax not to bring people to know this little known publisher but to bring people to know theWintermute Engine..
It's brilliant really, this relatively unknown 2.5D free for all point and click adventure game engine developer has had over 3000 visitors in the last 24 hours.
Edit: Just Google Limbo Of The Lost and watch as headlines popup on every single gaming site on the Internet, everyone is talking about this and that equals big hit points for Wintermute Engine sites. This is the biggest news in gaming and that is the most hilarious spectacle I have yet seen in this community. Unbelievable!
The interesting part is how quickly word of this has spread. There's even a wiki page already setup.
