the game crashes to the desktop every few minutes when doing the Haunted Castle quest. It's frustrating, I tried everything, like setting core affinities. No such luck, the problem came when I installed your mod...
Any help?
My specs are:
AMD X6 1090t
ATI HD 6870
8GB ram.

Unfortunately, I didn't see anything like this during testing so I can't tell you what the issue might be. It could be a mod interaction and Pints and Quarts was the last mod added and therefore, the one that caused a building situation to be noticeable.
Since I can't provide anything useful, I'll mention your posting in my next email conversation with Sonmeister so he will be sure to see your post. I'm sorry you are having problems :-(

Hey powerofthree you are the first to post an issue like this and like mcgoy (who was my playtester) I never had the issue of CTD. You may have a conflict with another mod (if you have any others installed?) If you want to try and uninstall others you may be able to track it down. If you can, I would like to know about any conflicts so I can let people know. If you don't, then I don't know what it would be at least until some others report the same issue and we can try and track down confilcts. Sorry!
Is it working OK in the other quest?

Actually, I have heard of CTD, just hadn't really thought it through because it wasn't associated with the production release of this mod. Sleeping always makes me think of more questions....
Powerofthree, if you are able to install and run dragon age, I'm going to assume that your hardware specs meet the minimum requirements. If they don't, I wouldn't know enough to recognize it anyway <shrugs>. I personally have a LOT of mods installed, armor, weapons, DA redesigned, Q&L, Karmas, etc etc etc. So I'm going to ask about everything that I now of that HAS led to CTD in the past.... Do you have patch 1.05 installed? Are you using a retexturing mod? Have you installed anything that makes the game harder? Anything that you are aware of that makes changes to the 'core resources' of the game? Any of these things - especially if you have only the bare minimum for playing DA to begin with - can cause an impact on core game resources and ultimately a CTD. But it gets worse. I have DA/Ultimate (DA/UE) which doesn't mean that my game won't do a CTD, it means that a different mods cause extreme lag/CTD. A friend of mine who has DAO absolutely can not play mods that I play with no problem while he plays mods that I don't because of the extreme lag/CTD issues. Does any of this bring any mods to mind? If not.... please list the mods that you use or mention any changes you have made to core game resources. I've got a LOT of mods installed so I may be able to eliminate some of them....
Oh, and how did you install Pints and Quarts? daupdater? something else?

Exiting the Fade questions?
I had a few people wonder how to get out of the Fade after the quest is done.
Once you kill Arioch, there is a pedestal in the room with the sword Spiritslayer called Fade Exit that is actually your exit. It is not active right away. If you do the good finish the pedestal becomes active on Elric's exit - if you do the bad finish (try to keep the sword) the pedestal becomes active after you deal with the consequences of your actions. If you go back to the original portal (entry into the Fade) it is glowing but it is not meant to be a way out.

Nice work, and especially nice touch with Elric of Melnibone. Pretty much anything with Michael Moorcock is bound to be a thought provoker. He's another curious thread in the tapestry of the literary masterpiece which is Dragon Age. Unsurprisingly, each with a theological or theosophical color beneath it all. Anyway, its moddability and open endedness is great for building on, too. Michael Whelan has some nice art in the Elric vein, if I recall right, and I think some of the old artists of the 80s/90s, like Bob Pepper, (Whom I actually got to speak with about his DT and DM art for old toy companies) were influenced directly or otherwise, by MM.
Right! Cheers, Kudos, and an endorsement for you!

Thanks for add-on and making it Ser Gilmore friendly. Some nice boss fights so far and it loaded fine. Not interfering with Q&L, phew, at least so far. Since I need a load of money to legitimately get through Q&L I always welcome another way to increase my earnings. Not to mention fights that don't put my team to sleep.

cool, new content. I played the Ancient Elven Ruins as well. As soon as Wendymoo gets done with the Valeria VOs, I will be doing another playthrough.
