Glad to see this get some more attention. I put $100 down a week or so ago, I am definitely looking forward to seeing what they can do with bringing back a true classic. And for those who missed the earlier updates, having just passed the $2.1 million mark, the folks at inXile are going to get help with quest/location content writing from some of the guys at Obsidian (the guys who did Fallout New Vegas, and happen to be another part of the crew that did the original Fallout 1/2).

You need Vax with you. Then you can face the xenon laser turrets @ Base Cochise & the assorted horrors of the Sleeper Base. Watch for the Scorpitron in New Vegas. Red Ryder bb guns are the way 2 go!

That's kinda old news, it's buzzing for a good while now
but good posts to educate the newbies.
The funniest thing is that even though so old, everything from Brian Fargo is leagues ahead everything from Toddler Howard, Karpyshyn or jerks like Mike Laidlaw, as far as RPG games go. Just completed Fallout 1 from that GOG again, great stuff.
Now with $2.1 millions, the best video game writer in the industry, Chris Avellone, joins the project. I'm totally sold, the last time I wanted the game to come out already was New Vegas, and my God, that intolerable waiting again...
