It would seem to me that the whole idea is to help others enjoy their games more, so what if your a noob!!!,its a word,and only bothers you if you let it bother you. I ask for help all the time since I'm new to oblivion and moddings, am I a noob?, I quess and really could care less if you call me that or not!

Taking offence at being called a noob, even if well deserved, may not really be strange... but creating several topics just to say "YOU MISUNDERSTOOD ME" surely is. Have you tried taking life a little lighter than that?

First, N00B is not newbie, the difference must be resumed here so that who call other one or another does so knowing what is doing:

Newbie is the beginner at any activity. Everyone have to be a newbie sometime at everything. The newbie may ask something "stupid" once, maybe even twice, but will learn to walk with their own legs.

N00B is the one that never learns, that aways think others have to care about then.
For so thinking they will never learn and are ever and ever more dependent of others. They are lazy and/or social troubled people.

They commonly become trolls. They normally start threads like this one, mourning those who tried to point then the way to go instead doing the walk for then.

So, calling one a N00B is offensive as much as calling one stupid/retard is. And so most of times are the N00Bs the ones that call other so.

Now you know what is "one" and the "other", is about you deciding if whom comes here asking for help is a newbie or NOOB. Our is the role of not creating or feeding the last.

I don't believe anyone has called anyone other noob Vagrant0 just doesn't seem to be a person to do that It seems to me that author simply THINKS he was treated as a noob. That makes a difference, doesn't it?
