Could you add a "bombers" sight to the vertibird and make it possible to drop bombs like the mini-nukes? It would also aid as a landing sight to check where you are actually setting down. Love the mod though.

Could you add a hover mode to the vertibird where it stays at the current altitude, and could you add a key bind to make it toggle between 1st and 3rd person. That would help to make flying a bit easier.

In response to post #7222035.

yes i also would like the radar to be integrated into the vertibird hud so i don't have to keep opening my pipboy every 5 second to see if im still in line to my quest target

In response to post #6804196. #8517383 is also a reply to the same post.

actually it would be better if there was a toggle for Use Default Textures.

this would just say use whatever vertibird texture is in the override folder

I think i found the cause of the mysterious crashes.

i know this is a known bug where your flying and randomly crash like you hit a wall, however i believe that the issue is not invisible walls like i originally thought. i can now replicate this collision bug at will .

it appears to be triggered during the transition from cruise mode to hovering mode. at this point in time i believe that the cause is the engine mistaking the sudden drop in maximum velocity for a sudden stop like you get when you hit a wall. so naturally the engine believes there is a collision where none exists and crashes the aircraft.

i think the fix for this would be to redesign the way hover mode vs cruise mode works. perhaps a safer transition and more gradual slowdown along with a button to toggle between cruise and hover instead of relying on arbitrary altitude information which is calculated as distance from ground rather than absolute height.

I can't seem to fly anywhere at all without abruptly crashing midair and tumbling down to the ground or exploding midair. I recorded it if it's useful for anyone. Also switching to and from Cruise Altitude causes me to sustain some damage, which also prevents me from going anywhere since I've sustained so much damage from it that even the smallest insect on my windshield would make my aircraft abruptly combust into twisted irradiated metal. Right now it's gotten to the point, as you can see in the video, where I can't go anywhere at all. The other way is the same apart from the obvious presence of mountains which yield no passage. Going up to Cruise Altitude causes me to sustain damage, rendering my aircraft out of commission. This is a frustrating predicament. It would be great if the creator would be capable of adding an option that would allow the user to toggle the collision detectors all together and then manually enable it once again during landing sequences.
