FRESH INSTALL PROCESS ENB
Please verify you're not using another version of ENB
If you were using one in the past, remove all remaining files from Skyrim main folder
Drag the ENB files provided with the mod in Skyrim main data folder
Go to MyDocuments/Mygames/Skyrim
Verify that "bFloatPointRenderTarget=1" and sD3DDevice="ENB" are correctly set in SkyrimPrefs.ini
If not, modify these lines exactly as above
Take your two inis (Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini), and put them on your desktop for backup (Anyway, always have your inis backuped somewhere)
Delete rendererinfo.txt
Go to Skyrim main folder and launch TESV.exe
It will recognize your render device, must be "ENB", and create two default inis in MyDocuments/MyGames/Skyrim
Don't launch the game, quit the launcher
Go to MyDocuments/MyGames/Skyrim and delete the two default inis
Take back the Inis you backed up from your desktop, and put them in MyDocuments/MyGames/Skyrim
You're ready to go !

FRESH INSTALL PROCESS REALISTIC LIGHTING
Take the 4 Realistic Lighting files provided with the mod and put them in Skyrim/Data folder
Please verify that your computer recognizes the realisticlightingpatcher and is java updated in order to launch it
Run the patcher once
Verify that "realisticlighting.esp" and "realisticlightingpatcher.esp" are checked in your Skyrim default launcher / NMM / BOSS / Wrye bash
Verify that they are at the BOTTOM of your load order and that the patcher is loaded AFTER the main esp.
If you're using other mods that alters light / weather / fog, please remove it, as RL does the same, but better

Lighting problems:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Check list:
• did you overwrote another ENB with this one?
-> If you did so make sure you didnt left anything behind
• make sure Realistic Lighting + Patcher is activated and in the right load order:
-> Realistic Lighting.esp then
-> Realistic Lighting Patcher.esp
• Do you use any Lighting or sunglare mods/textures?
-> Uninstall them and check if they are causing the problem.
• make sure fGamma=1.0000 is set to this in your skyrimprefs.ini you can find it at my documents/my games/skyrim
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
In and around Riften I'm getting some weird effect.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
• this problem is typically RL related. Download realistic.esp last fix (Riften fix two) here:
http://skyrim.nexusm...ile.php?id=7654
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I cant see underwater:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are two ways to fix that:
• This is the easiest way to fix that: Set bDoDepthOfField=0 in skyrimprefs.ini (you can find it under my documents/my games/skyrim). No extra mods are neccessary to fix the green water problem. If you use this dont forget to make sure the Greenwaterfixforwater.esp is deactivated. (dont worry the ENB DoF will still work)
• The other way is to use the (in the mod included) Greenwaterfixforwater.esp if you have trouble with this look below.
Greenwaterfix doesnt work:
• Did you installed W.A.T.E.R and activated it?
• try to set the Greenwaterfixforwater.esp at the end of your load order.
• It seemse for me that some mods which require a water patch are not compatible with Greenwaterfixforwater.esp.
Some of these mods are even corupting your save game and you need to deinstall them and start a new game
or load a save where you didnt had the mod installed to get the Greenwaterfixforwater to work.
(i got this with the Basic Needs mod)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kahjit night vision/Vampire's sight isnt working!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
• This is a compatibility problem between skyrim and enb.
No fixes are out there as far i know.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I got Grass shadow issues
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
• This is a compatibility problem between skyrim and enb 1.02 caused from the skyrim 1.5+ patch.
No fixes are out there as far i know.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to use FXAA indicator with this mod?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
• just rename the FXAA d3d9.dll to d3d9_FXAA.dll and copy these values in your enbseries.ini:
[PROXY]
EnableProxyLibrary=true
InitProxyFunctions=true
ProxyLibrary=d3d9_FXAA.dll
Overwrite the old ones! Then both should work just fine.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to improve my performance even more?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
• First of all you can disable the SSAO, this should give you a massive performance boost.
-> Edit the enbseries.ini and set EnableAmbientOcclusion=true to false.
• Next possibility is to decrease the Game graphic settings via Launcher or via tweaks.
-> iMultiSample=X is the Value fot the Antialising (AA) (possible values 0,2,4,
-> iMaxAnisotropy=XX is the value for the Ansiotropy Filtering (AF) (possible values 0,2,4,8,12,16)
You can find both in the skyrimprefs.ini (at my documents/my games/skyrim)
• you can change ForceAnisotropicFiltering=true to false in your enbseries.ini aswell
• or change the value of it MaxAnisotropy=XX (possible values 0,2,4,8,12,16)
• If you disable Depth of Field (DoF) you gain a good amount of performance aswell.
-> edit your enbseries.ini and set EnableDepthOfField=true to false
I wouldnt recommand using all of these options just take as much as you need.
And if you have a Nvidia card tweaked your Nvidia settings for skyrim restor them to default again this gives a great performance boost aswell.
I want to say Thanks to:
->Sharpshooter8 for making this awesome mod
->Kyokushinoyama & UnrealWarfare for helping me with that collection and helping so many users with their problems
->Everyone else who helps users with their problems
->And last but not least to Boris the creator of ENB series, without him all of this wouldnt be possible.
