Overview:

The Secret World RP is based on the real worlds myths, and the secret societies are based on those from an Upcoming Game with the same title, while it is not released yet, this RP will not be an exact copy, instead our own take on it. Every myth and rumour of ghostly sightings and otherworldly creatures is true, monsters roam the dark nights, and hide under your bed, werewolves hunt in secret, Vampires live in plain sight. It is the year 2012, but everything is true.Be whoever you want to be, a normal person with no knowledge of the secret world, an occult expert, a demon hunter, a vampire a werewolf. Anything.

 

Secret Societies:

There are 3 main secret societies to be a member of Should you chose Unlike the game you do not have to be in one, they are as follows:

The Dragon: this Asian group is the most secretive of societies. With no fixed territory or structure, the Dragon have dissolved and reformed throughout history. They believe that a closed, controlled society is a sick society. Only through collapse and rebuilding, the natural chaos of life, can the world be in harmony. Recently, they have taken root in a nameless district of Seoul, Korea. their strategies are incomprehensible. Fractal patterns, chaos theory, random numbers, unrelated events. The Dragon understand that there is no pattern, only acts of great change to be committed. From a whisper to an explosion, they divine that an incident here, a disappearance there, can change the course of everything; acupuncture applied to a paralysed planet. you are given the entire cosmos in potential. They have practiced martial and mental arts attuned to the true harmony of the world. The most dangerous and unpredictable of magics bend to the wills of those who are dangerous and unpredictable. In the approaching dark times, things will never be the same again. You are in the Dragon's element.

 

The Illuminati: The Illuminati may have ancient roots,but they remain forever young and hungry. In every growing empire they have played for it all. And they play for keeps. Stealing the Americas from under the Templars' noses, they grew with the United States to become a shadow superpower. Their corporate headquarters, the Labyrinth, is in an undisclosed location beneath Brooklyn, New York. Acting silently, unless the occasion calls for a gunshot, the Illuminati push for a New World Order. It will be empowering and ruthless. Failure is not an option. Complacency is worse than not an option. Their arsenal is the ambition of a new media startup, the rhetoric of a congressman and a mogul's business sense. Never forgetting a grudge. They have tradition to uphold. For thousands of years they have been single-minded in their mission to obliterate evil in all its forms. Where angels fear to tread, the Templars kick down doors. As a soldier of the Templars,you will benefit from their military might. They have hoarded vast occult libraries and the hard-won knowledge of battles throughout time. Race: Caucasian American Male.

 

Appearance: Height: 6'0, Weight: 185 pounds, Eye Color: Having Heterochromia iridum, his right eye is blue, while his left is grey. A average build, but still strong. Hair Color: Brown-Graying hair, with a brown and graying beard. He has a tattoo of his Marine Raiders Battalion from WW2 on his wrist.

History/Background: Logan was born in Brooklyn, Massachusetts, on November 24th, 1920. His whole family worked for a living in his fathers Deli restaurant, when he was 10, in 1930 his father died from lung cancer, and he had to take over the Deli restaurant. Logan had to do most of the work around the restaurant and the house, since his mother went into a deep depression after his father died. In 1937, when he was 17, the house was in major debt, and they were on the verge of losing the restaurant. His mother committed suicide from the amount of stress and the mix depression. Logan was left by himself with the dept, the bills, and the hardship of losing both of his parents. In 1939, when he was 19, World War 2 began. Logan was desperate for money, and he signed up for the Marine Corps.

 

When he went to boot camp, his amazing agility and his skill to pull off even the most difficult of shots with ease, he was assigned 2nd Battalion in the Marine Raiders company, as a Scout Sniper. He was assigned to almost 50 missions, most were assassination missions. His officers used his skill to take out important people, in both Europe and Asia. He had gotten multiple metals for bravery, courageousness, and honor. He was well known in most of the Army, and quickly rose through the ranks. By 1945, he was a Major, still doing field missions. As the war came to a close. He came back to Brooklyn as a hero, only to find out that his Deli was burned to the ground and his house was knocked down, and built upon it was a nice row of new houses. The whole city was so generous because of his actions, they built him a new restaurant, for free.

 

Logan continued to work at the restaurant through the Great Depression, he was the few restaurants that allowed Blacks and Whites to eat there. He was well known to the community and was well liked. Until one day, a band of racist whites, came into the restaurant and shot up the place. Logan was lucky that he was only shot a couple of times, and the only survivor of the shooting. As he recovered in the hospital, he would never forget the face that he met that day. The man introduced him to the government society, The Illuminati, It seemed they took an interest in Logan, for his special talent of being a expert shot with a sniper rifle. After a short meeting, Logan was taken to the Illuminati hospital, in the secret bunker under New York. There, he became an Agent. on May 20th, 1961.

 

As an Agent for the Illuminati, he was sent all around the globe. For assassinations, interrogations, and other secret things. However, the Illuminati saw that Logan was aging, and it was affecting his work. In 1980, he was given a serum, that literally, brought his age back 60 years, he looked like he was 20 again. Logan continued to work for the Illuminati until around 2005, when he was asked to do something that he was never going to do in his life time. Kill innocent people. There was a riot in-front of the D.C monument, the rioters were threatening that they knew something about the Illuminati, and his team was ordered to shoot anyone on sight. Logan himself never fired a bullet, and he watched his power hungry and bloodthirsty team, unload almost 2000 bullets into the crowd, killing everyone. Men, Woman, and Children laid there, dying or dead. Logan was shocked and disgusted that his team did what no human being should do. He personally executed his team members, and ran.

 

In 2012, he still hides from the Illuminati, trying to bring down the secret government corporation. Although, he knows that he can't do it himself, and needs help to bring down the corrupted and evil cooperation.

Appearance: Height: 6ft1 Weight: 90lbs Eye Colour: Greyish blue. An extremely thin 'Model build' with long limbs and spindly fingers. Hair colour: Bleached blonde (Roots included) (Now brown with blonde highlights}. Usually wearing a light makeup. Very Beautiful face.

 

Affiliation: Illuminati.

 

Weapons: A pair of custom Ruger sr21's. Made from silver, clips and barrel bearing the Iluminati seal.

 

History/Background: Victoria grew up the daughter to multi-trillionaire father, Daniel Oldwell. She lived the life of the most luxurious standard, she was brought up to be perfect, and a lady. She admired and loved her father, and as an only child, she would one day Inherit everything he had. But he taught her vital lessons in life, and he gave her a choice. She could have lived off him for the rest of her days, never worked, never needed an education... or she could aspire to more, he could enroll her in private school, and give her the chance to forge her own life.

 

At the age of 16 victoria made her choice. After being home-tutored, she was enlisted in a a private school, where she studied without rest, she put her head down and aspired to do something with her life, despite already being enrolled with modelling agencies... but she was a cold young woman who wanted more power. She dug up secrets on teachers and peers in her spare time, blackmailed them, ruined a few lives, wrecked a few relationships. But still she was popular. Her and some of the other rich girls formed a group of friends, picture perfect and manipulative, always getting whatever they desired.

 

After passing with flying colours in all of her exams, A's for almost everything, she devoted her time to learning the trade of business from her successful father... and once she and her father were satisfied, her life was enlisted to Modelling.

 

For years she was in countless magazines, on catwalks and runways, ever cold and calculating she dug up secrets from employers pasts but always remaining close to her beloved father., found dirt on government officials, until one day she wandered into a man, wearing a dark suit. He kidnapped the Cold star, and brought her to :Location deleted: He introduced her into the Illuminati, and she has been serving with them since 2004. Rising quickly through the ranks with her ruthless attitude and cold stare, she is now among the top tiers of the elusive organization... dealing with a defect from there order... an old adversary who could not follow commands...

 

She nor her father ever made it public that they were related, and the press have never seen them together... she likes to keep the fact she is the daughter of a tycoon private.

Appearance: 'The Director' stands at 6' , and if you look into his eyes then you had best be god damn ready for the most intense stare of your life. Clean shaven, usually in a suit with a high tech watch, which can actually send certain signals to squads of PMC, to bomb detonators and other things if the frequency is set right, which can be done inconspicuasly, it took billions of dollars to make, and he only got it recently, it's still a prototype and sometimes malfunctions.

History/Background: Not much is known about The Director. Some people believe that he has changed his name so much, that not even he can remember what it really is. What is known is that he is incharge of a PMC known as the I.U.S.P, sometimes informally as 'The Agency'. From watching a house to a pent house to a corperate building, from protecting celebrities to towns to cities, I.U.S.P is often the security force that is called in first. The price of their survices vary, though are almost always expensive. The director a serious and strict tone, and a strong sense of sarcasm, and is all to quick to condemn and rebuke someone for their actions, when he congratulates it's usually a short, quick line "Thats an achivement" or "Good work", never really anything longer
