My reaction to the "one month Xbox 360 exclusive" thing is:
So?
It's good business for Bethesda. Every dollar they get from Microsoft is a revenue dollar they don't have to generate by raising prices or cutting resources.
It's only a month, fer crying out loud. Gives them time to spot the bugs in the DLC.
We PC users have a ton of mods available to us already, with more coming out all the time.
Players angry at Dawnguard Xbox exclusivity

I'm happy with CK. Regardless wether the DLC is exclusive for now or not don't forget we got a FREE HD DLC along with CK and no one have had a clue before...so why shouldn't there any suprise this time?^^

a lot of the trolls have left bethblog now, but man i was there when they first posted the teaser photo. "wait till e3" i was like damn better be a big DLC. then the comments came in, a lot of pissed off people thinking this was a exclusive not a timed exclusive. others just trolling or being idiots i cant tell.
some of them are PC gamers. come on PC gamers complaining when we have sooooo much free content on the internet? its just 30 days. you'll make it

It sucks that we do not get the DLC until a month after, but we have mods and such so its not that big of a deal. Hell, I think the Xbox users deserve it because there stuck with just vanilla skyrim.
Also, be happy your not using a PS3. Those users get f***ed no matter what.

You have to realize not everyone can use the CK. These people complaining have probably never even downloaded it.

Oh no, I can't download more buggy bethesda code for a month after consoles?
Oh well, back to downloading mods made by far more invested and sometimes even more talented people.

I'm pretty sure that shady back-door payoff from Microsoft is going into executives' pockets and not into game development. How much money does it cost to ensure all the bugs get squashed in a game? I bet the creators of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch would gladly sell their magnum opus to Bethesda for a reasonable price.
It's insulting to force someone to wait. No, I could care less about the time and will console myself with the zillions of cool mods out there, but I still remember in the back of my mind that Bethesda stepped on me to line it's executives' pockets with Microsoft slush money in a weak attempt to motivate people to buy their lame console.

What the heck is this complaining about?? Beth have announced that it will be out for PC, so it will be. What's the point in complaining about one month or the other? If they'd announced something to be available only for one specific platform permanently, that would be quite different. But they haven't. Sounds like some people believe they'll be dying only because of having to wait one more month for a computer game. People tend to die for more severe reasons out there...
Not to forget: Having something published later usually means better quality! This is much more important to me than just the date. Just lean back and let the XBox users do the testing for us...

But the problem is that the CK or the DLC was not released on release date. We didnt ask for or needed Steam workshop seriously. Bethesda was well aware of the nexus and all the other modding sites for years. That time and effort toward steam workshop could of been DLC time. I love Bethesda but some of their decision making some times is quite questionable.

Although I don't approve of the DLC exclusivity deal with MS, I suppose you could say that PC users get a much deeper and richer Skyrim experience through mods, which the consoles will never have. It'snot like we are not going to get the DLC, it will just be delayed by 30-days. It's not the end of the world.
