I don't own an XBox, don't want an XBox, don't need an XBox. A delay of one month in getting DLC for a video game isn't going to cause me to spend a couple hundred bucks on a console.
I've lived my entire life so far without once playing Dawnguard. I can manage to survive one more month. Nobody's saying DG will be permanently denied to the PC platform, just delayed a few weeks.
Let's keep this in perspective: Bethesda is a publishing business. Taking money in exchange for temporary exclusivity of content is standard procedure in that industry. It's not illegal, not unethical, just annoying to a percentage of their customers. They aren't legally obligated to make DLC available at all, much less on a particular platform at a particular time.
Annoying? Certainly. On the other hand, if nobody now using the PC version of Skyrim goes out and buys an XBox just to get Dawnguard a little faster, then you have your ultimate revenge: Microsoft wasted their money. Epic Fail on their part.
As someone else said, given a choice between the CK and third-party mods, versus getting Dawnguard 30 days faster, it's a no-brainer.

The only problem I have with "Getting the Creation Kit" While it is awesome they have still yet to fix the navmesh bug. I have a town mod I created with the normal method that does not work AT ALL and am not sure how to make it only a esm. So my mod has been totally halted because of this. So I dont have the DLC or the Creation Kit.

well.. surely there will plenty of bugs in first version.. i'll upset just if, after the month, they'll give us the same version without any corrective. And in August i hope to be swimming in the sea, not in front of my pc!

I was laughing hard the first day they released the pic on the beth forums...a lot of people were acting like a bunch of kids. It was sad, and very childish. Even after the mods explained it to everyone, as did other posters. a lot chose to ramble, *censored* and moan. I'm so glad we don't have that here.

Me doesn't care about DLC... as long as PC has mods, consoles can have they early access to DLC... I mean PC already have tons of content and even much better graphics with all those mods (if you care about graphics)... and to think about all things that will come... like unnoficial bugfixes... quests, new lands and stuff like this... I say: let them have those timed exclusives. Those ppl who plays on PC (like me) shouldn't even bother about someone receive one or two things earlier. Common ppl... we have gigabytes of mods, forget about DLC for a month and just enjoy all this stuff XD

If it was an exclusive "forever" well, then it would be reasonable to feel betrayed, after all the "game brand" (TESV but also FALLOUT) include the idea that there will be mods suport, fix patches, expansion patches and also expansion packs nowadays called DLC. But it's just a 1 month delay, i mean 30 DAYS.... are you seriously going crazy for such little thing?
Where's the problem if they catch some money or other forms of revenues with this deal? I don't see any problem, only paranoids see conspirations everywhere, even when the deal is quite transparent and legit. Ofc i would prefer a single launch day worldwide without all these complications, but you know consoles are at war so i see the point for these exclusives. And i think it's fair as long as the exclusive is timed, like a month or two.
The CK was not released on launch? Ok, but it has been released, that's the important part. It's a plus, you know, you don't pay for it and strictly talking it's not part of the game, and works only for the PC version... it's something they gives aways as a gift for PC users, that's quite a cool exclusive if you ask me. Instead of saying thanks for Beth for supporting mods, people whine cause the tool was released later.
Ok to mantain the pressure high so they keep working hard to give us fun games, but this is getting out of hand: people can only whine about everything.

Whiners gotta whine.
Seriously, get over it. Beth announced the first DLC would be an xbox one month exclusive even before they released the game. This was a marketing deal between Beth & MS to help MS sell even more of their game boxes and Beth to sell even more Xbox versions of their new game.
There is nothing immoral or unethical about making that deal with MS for some unspecified consideration. MS is hopeing that some of the kiddies that just cannot wait a full 30 days will plunk down cash to buy an xbox just so they get to pay even more money to play a DLC before the ps3 fanboys or the PC geeks.
So, don't get your panties in a wad, Just download a couple of dozen FREE mods to keep you occupied for the few days until the DLC is released for PC. Or, how about going outside, making some real life friends and doing something besides staring at a monitor during all of your spare time.

In fairness, PC have Nexus for mods and missions, we've got this and consoles have nothing, if its only 30 days difference between us and them, I honestly dont care. Its only a month. Sure i'd love to have it then but what can you do. Let the consoles have it first, we have the better deal.
