And Shady Sam doesn't have the hardware. The mod uses a formula to put the stuff in Sam's vanilla chest. Made no changes to Sam, the chest or the cell. I don't have a clue. I can't imagine why anyone would have changed the vanilla chest. Modular Oblivion adds several things to Sam, but the mod I looked doesn't touch Sam or his chest.
I shall think. If you got the spell and the log entries, the mod is working. Except it is not. Hmmmm. Want to try one that sends directly to Sam instead of his chest?

Version 1.3 adds spells to allow you to move your cattle around the countryside and to make sure they keep up their strength by eating. The Vampire Arrogance spell has been adjusted to make sure the victims are properly unhappy. Very weak characters seem to fall in love with their high personality tormentor anyway, but loving the monster is no longer forced on them. A cow who does fall in love with you, will recover the ability to talk. This may open up some possibilities down the road.
You'll have to train some livestock before you gain the new capabilities. If you just switch to the new esp, the script in question will give you credit for those already trained.

Really enjoying playing your mod works perfectly for me. Couple of ideas for you to consider, dialogue option to feed from cattle who fall in love with you. Secondly an option to buy, sell, swap, loan, cattle to or with other vampires would add to the roleplaying of playing as a vampire. Thanks again and well done

I think you must be a very evil person, because I've been thinking about the same things. Right now, I'm trying to lay a foundation for herd management. In the current version, the cattle all lose their identities, essential npcs lose their immortality and all are prone to dying in their first days as your cattle. We've got calves, cows and bulls. I was thinking also of cattle rustlers. Once I'm happy with basic herd management, I'll post another version. It'll probably require a fresh start unless you are willing to console kill and resurrect your old cattle.

A very interesting mod to help add to the gameplay for a vampire character. I too found it cumbersome to have to leave my house and sneak around and either drink from the beggars or break in to houses when my vampire character was "established" with a nice house.
I appreciate all the hard work and effort to craft this mod. I will conme back and rate it after playing the game with the mod. Good luck with yuur continued modding career!

Let me know about the problems you encounter. I've tested it with different vampire mods and different vampire characters, but my game play tends to fall into a pattern. I suspect that knowing what is supposed to happen, limits the chance of finding errors.

Hi pihwht, loving your work. Been trying out the new mod and have run into a couple of problems.
After drinking from a cow about 5 or 6 times the cow loses all dialogue and a message pops up on screen "I have no greeting". Also in situations where you get the jump on a victim ie when you lure them to your house or use companion share & recruits "give gift option" to place training irons on the cow I cast vampire arrogance but when I swap the training irons for cattle irons the following happens. The trainig irons show as stolen in my inventory, and the cow stands rooted to the spot the dialogue appears but the cow fails to respond to any command, exiting and returnig to the cell has no effect. I have never been able to obtain a cow by these methods. I am running a "vanilla vampire" game with a new character I am using the same mods I had on the prevous version of your mod and that worked fine. The home stealing is working perfectly, every other aspect of the mod works fine. Any help would be appreciated keep up the good work.

I will try to figure out which possibility I missed in dialog. Do you happen to remember any little tidbits in the dialog tree for that particular npc?
If you take item before their name changes, the item belongs to the them. After the name changes, their stuff is your stuff.
I hope in the next day or two to put up the next version which will include a bit of a plot and access to merchants.

The missing dialog happens on every cow after using the "take a little blood" option about five or six times on that particular cow. If I don't use that option all the other dialog options work fine and remain as normal. I have never got to the "drink deeply stage", I always get the "I have no greeting" message long before then.
I get what you say about the name change, I will test again with that in mind. Hope this info is useful, I am looking forward to the next version this is a very exciting mod.
