Are you guys stupid? Wait you don't have to tell me because I already know you're.

Graphically speaking this is leaps and bounds ahead of Morrowind and even a game like WoW that's designed to run on anything made in the past 12 years.

You should be complaining about how this will play nothing like TES and will be just another generic MMO that will fall to the big boys like WoW.

Look folk's nearly all of us are single player fan's so we won't like this but lets hope it doese'nt dive for the sake of the people that braught us the elder scrolls, the original ethos behind morrowind oblivion and less so skyrim after all was something most developers would not want to give us a working game engine with assets and let us do pretty much what we wanted with it(not commercial though) this online version will mark a radical departure from bethesda game studios original ethos as it will not be modable, I can't see why the graphics though have to be bad as the system merely need's to have local data on all terminals in the network scalabe to the available hardware that are playing and to call simple data codes for armor, gender, xyz coordinate's, inventory (which stays in local data and only uploads when you change a weapon or spell) and animation ,etc ,. the reason i dont' think it'll be modable is that all mods would require unique data codes and be registered in the central servers and be resident on all terminals, in wow for instance you could buy addons but updates ensured all terminals had the relavent data, as for real time combat it simply would not work for such a large user base were you may end up with several hundred players on screen at a single time, unless they limit the number of players visible to each terminal and thats hardly open world.

I dont understand the disappointment. I expected the graphics beeing.. well, call it "different" to the singleplayer-games, we have the singleplyer for nice graphics (although I was dissapointed because they made the textures worse for consoles so they can handle it -__-)

Its more an MMO-style of graphic, and in MMO graphic isnt important, fun and balance is most important there. If it will be a game with monthly payments I wont buy it anyways, I just buy games a la "buy in store and play as long and much as you want"

If you want to play a fantasy MMO , experience some lag and see how it could look like, play Perfect World , because this will be the way you will be able to play the game.
Do I want this ? Not at all, because this will turn into another MMO "free-to-play-but-pay-if-you-want-to-be-amongst-the-best" kinda games, Im 100 % sure of it.
Today MMO's are big business ( well, most of them) and Im not waiting for another game full of bugs , less or none maintenance ( at least not the ones that are needed).
Anyway, you all can think what you want, but Elders Scrolls Series ARENT made for MMO , if it becomes one they will forever lose their biggest fans and their identity, and thats a fact !

Elder Scrolls and MMO = NOT DONE !!!

I'm laughing so hard at the people who weren't expecting this.
It's an MMO.
MMO's haven't changed since WoW came out, and anything remotely different is either outside of Western Radar, or bombs hard.
You can't have a super HD MMO because it would be impossible to run and host.
You can't expect a first person MMO because something like that isn't easy to host if you want something as dynamic as a FPS.
If you were expecting Skyrim but as a multiplayer, take a look at the Skyrim Online mod...
