Did a lot of cleaning up, and I managed to get away without a single deleted record.

I still crash randomly, but I didn't experience two crashes in a row anymore, so I guess something somewhere is running better now. Might just be me who needs a clean reinstall this time.... :/

I'm using the CK only. I used to use it in conjunction with SkyEdit, but that caused the CK to mess up script fragments. Rage was had, especially since the CKs abilities to actually clean records is questionable, at least.

What other mods are you using when testing if any? Might not be just SkyRe causing the crashes

Usually running SkyTEST, Dragons Diversified and The Dance Of Death. But (of course) I've also tested SkyRe alone (without any compatibility plugins even).

What bothers me the most is the fact that it randomly crashes. Sometimes Skyrim loads fine 8 times in a row, sometimes it crashes 8 times in a row on startup (though the cleanup made that better).

Doesn't compute. Is there any part during resource initialization that has a random element?

As it was already said, the what's the strangest about those crashes is that they seem to be completely random. I have only received those either in main menu (before the subtitles show up) or when loading a save from main menu. Perhaps it is because of massive changes and the game not being able to handle it, as the amount of RAM dedicated for game doesn't change, though there's much more to load, especially on startup or when first loading. Perhaps it's because of computer, not the game, as system's use of resources constantly changes, and that could explain its randomness. I don't have much experience with IT, so I really can't say. But my computer is not at all modern (I was so amazingly surprised when it turned to be able to run Skyrim fluently in HD and medium details...), so that could be the source of bugs...

With latest version I had bow staggering happening constant as soon as it ended it started the next one. Not yet stopped other mods but I run no mods that should affect bows or combat beside dance of death.

With a save from the old version my bow didn't stagger at all. My stamina went down slightly but it came back up a second later. Starting a new game, my stamina didn't budge at all and still no stagger.

Pasting this here as well.

@ all:

Dudes, important!
I'm on a hunt for scripting errors. Anyone brave enough to use 0.99.8.3, please support me by doing the following:

1. Go to /Documents/MyGames/Skyrim
2. Add the following lines to you Skyrim.ini:

[Papyrus]
bEnableLogging=1
bEnableTrace=1
bLoadDebugInformation=1

3. Play
4. After playing, go back to the mentioned folder.
5. A new subfolder has popped up, "Logs"
6. Paste the content of the Papyrus log either in a PM to me, or at http://pastebin.com/
7. PM me

Thanks in advance!

I don't know if you're aware of this or not, or if it's solely a result of mod incompatibility, but the Thieves' Guild Gloves and their various derivatives (improved and master) are still set to fortify lock-picking. For some reason, this results in them claiming to increase attack speed, while instead slowing your swings / draws to a snail's pace.

Not aware of that; will check it out once 0.99.8 gets stable.
