It can beat at any level. I, for example, beat it at level 2. My friend beat it at level 1...

if you use potions beating the game would be very simple at a low level. you can make potions really powerful ie fortify strength 2000 pts for 2000 sec.
if you use that and fortify agility really high you can be really strong and never get hit. and you would still be only level one. the problem with this is when you fight a spellcaster but then just use a reflect potion or spell.

Potions in my opinion are cheep and make the game too easy and i would not want to use one. (one really cheep one is resore a large number of health over a large amount of time, since you would instantly heal after every blow)
