Matt Grandstaff, Bethesda Softworks' Community Manager, has confirmed to Skyrim Nexus that intrepid game journalists will see Dawnguard in action at E3.
He was not able to release information about whether the content would be demonstrated or whether it would be playable. "Sorry, we haven't announced exact E3 plans. All I can say is that folks will be seeing it there," Grandstaff said.
Grandstaff confirmed that members of the general community will not be able to see it. "Something to keep in mind, most of our stuff at E3 is behind closed doors and appointment only," he said.
Dawnguard details at E3 remain confidential

"behind closed doors and appointment only,"
A little pretentious, don't you think?

Ouch. Had to feel that one. It's like not being invited to your best friends birthday party... and they know...

hmmm, I guess being the biggest "competitor" to Steam Workshop doesn't win any favors eh? That stinks, but then again, I think these meetings are intended for straight up Press Members anyway. At least that's the way it typically works at E3...

You guys need to hire a reporter. Someone who is well known and will get behind the scene access to these events. I rarely go to gamer sites to read about games because reading sucks! But I come here every day looking for mods and don't mind take the 2 whole seconds to skim through your posts to see whats up.

you would think that bethesda would be more open about the DLC, considering how most of their players and hype has gone. most people i know stopped playing skyrim in january, since it got so boring.

Just thought about it, "behind closed doors" who does that for dlc? This dlc must be a huge expansion. Usually bethesda will just release a trailer and be done with it. What do you guys think? I just think a dlc being the show piece at E3 for a developer is powerful in itself, on top of that its not being shown to the general public? The dlc is basically getting the same treatment as skyrim got last year.
