Bethesda did say they were going to make less DLC but as big as shivering islands.As for the close doors well, it will get leaked anyway so...

@Deist, I'm studying journalism (like actual journalism, not that weird "English" subject that a bunch of US tertiary education institutions offer), so they have a reporter. I'd rather become a real reporter though than a "game journalist" because most games journalists do little more than report on PR. That's not to say a lot of other journalism isn't also driven by PR - a UTS/crikey investigation found 55% of stories in Australia media were driven by PR - but game journalism is truly on another level. There is so little actual investigative journalism, so little disclosure, such a cosy culture between the journalists and PR people, so tight media management by the PR people, that any person serious about studying journalism would view being called a game journalist as an insult. So I just post news related to the Nexus. Some of it is original reporting and some are just aggregation of already existing content. But I try and put my own little cynical spin on things which I hope you find interesting.

As for your comment that reading sucks, I strongly think you should reconsider. Most information about public life and society comes as written word and you are dramatically limiting your ability to be informed about changes that directly or indirectly affect you by declining to read thoroughly.

Let me geuss by this information.
At E3 they will just show a CG Video of dawnguard to get the hype up for the DLC.
Why would they be so mysterious? If they planned on letting players play they would say so. But they did say we are going to SEE it. They figured that if they let players play or show real game play it would not be attractive so there answer is to create some PR CG video stunt that looks like gameplay but actually is not to create a hype.

You need to get out more, on youtube there are plenty of unbiased game reporters and game play channels.

Its only the main stream media which does biased PR stunts, and that happens on all fields not just gaming.

yep because Bethesda game studios is well known for their CG trailers....... o wait what CG trailers!!

they're being hushed because dawnguard will be shown at Microsoft E3 show because 1. its a timed exclusive for xbox 2. Microsoft has nothing to show other then halo 4 at E3 so Microsoft needs dawnguard so its press show could suck less.

You know one thing we're forgetting is that XBOX is not the only console out there. Think about those poor PS3 players. They don't get any content even thought they have superior hardware.

Thats how microsoft works , they lock people onto their platform... its enslavement really.
But dawngaurd will probably come our for pc/ps3 after a few months it came to XBOX.

But still this is a really bad stunt from Bethesda, skyrim has its improvements, but gameplay has gone downhill since morrowind.
