I wouldnt mind a Daggerfall or Morrowind remake at this point. Daggerfall would be the one to deserve it though, since it is a sprites and pixel game from 1996 and Morrowind is a game with an actual 3D world and character models. I know that it is a little early to be waiting for a Morrowind remake, since it came out in 2001 and a lot of people consider it their favorite TES game. But, on the other hand, I dont think a lot of people were expecting the Halo Combat Evolved 10 year aniversary remake in the Reach engine, especially since Halo fans had 2,3 and Reach to play instead, which were more updated in terms of gameplay and graphics.
Update the graphics in the new engine, taking advantage of more advanced 3D models; redo the audio and music just enough to have it be in a higher quality output, and update the gameplay just enough to take advantage of improved styles of play(such as key mapping for controls, rebalancing of game mechanics and so on), and, of course, improve the lighting quality for a more immersive and atmosperic playing experience. There are probably a 1000 other things that you can do but all of you get the idea. The Halo 1 remake is quickly being referenced as the best way to remake a game.
If Bethesda set their sites on it would be a great addition to TES. And if you by chance do not like the updated version, you can always play the original. It would be a win-win in my book.^^

I still can't see the point of posting these news in a modding community, even if EOS finishes with TES single player series is not such a tragedy, it have happened before and another great games will take the place. People getting mad about changes in the lore... we see it here at Nexus every day, we do it ourselves, is it legit to change the games however we want but developers (those who create the game) can't do it? That's pure hypocresy.

The one article about what the game offers is pretty interesting, certainly vague, but interesting prospects. I hope the guilds end up being interesting, perhaps have major story line missions with plenty of random quests in between.
But one line I keep reading everyplace annoys me to no end
"Some things, like player housing, aren’t making the transition to an MMO because of the constraints inherent to an online game"
Last I checked it wasn't that difficult at all, considering an MMO released in 2003 was more than capable of giving players homes with fully customization furniture and decorations... (FFXI)
seriously, they need to stop bringing that up in every article, just chalk it up to "we're too lazy to add a player owned hub into the world." and stop chalking it up to technical difficulties.

I really hope that ESO bombs. Hard.

ESO is such a waste of everything ES IP related. Such a shame.

Hopefully ESO IS bombed and we can all forget it even existed, and then return back to the superior single player experiences with infinite mod support, console commands, better graphics, gameplay and such forth.

I find it funny people are saying they worry that the game might ruin the single-player games...... yet are constantly wishing for it bomb..... the one thing that has the most chance of it affecting the single-player games.
