Shzrie, I have been wondering about the site- how do you collect your mods? Do you seek out mods to link to, or do you rely on submissions? I noticed the skyrimrealestate was looking a little sparse, which is a shame since I loved oblivionrealestate so much! :D

Someone make an underground home inside the blackreach ruins, with the giant mushrooms- but it has to be floating up in the ceiling of the cave with a glass floor looking down on to black reach.

Guaranteed first place.

Fixed the title, but wanted to get it up last night, was late and I have fat fingers.

Why use the acronym already used by a popular mod?

It goes by submission and I also track down really good mods. It will take time for the site to fill up and so far there is a real lack of unique house mods. While there are quite a lot of house mods released, there just isn't much variety other then some standouts like the Asteria and a few others that I have on my list to get on the site.

Sadly quite a few of the standout homes are actually pretty dirty mods, as I have discovered. They haven't been cleaned and will conflict as they alter a multitude of unnecessary cells (Skyrim is really touchy like that), overwrite vanilla scipts and files and result in crashes for users.

There is also another reason that I haven't been grabbing every house mod I can find to fill up the site, and that is the nav mesh bug. Bethesda will release their promised fix and when they do I will need to ensure that every mod on SKYRE has been updated to fix the navmesh bug.

So it will take time to build up a full good stock of unique, quality house mods on SKYRE, but the Challenges will certainly speed things up. If you do know and use a mod that you think should be on the site please let me know. User recommendation is one of the best ways to find quality mods. :)

Strkrjns, the question is not why am I using an acronym already used by a popular mod, but rather....why is a popular mod built in February 2012 using an acronym already in use by a popular website that was built in October 2011?

The answer is that neither of us knew about the other and given that my whole website (the domain name, the banners, the template etc) has been designed around that acronym that I came up with in August of 2011, I won't be changing it. Like we were ORE (Oblivion's Real Estate) for six years, now we are SKYRE (Skyrim Real Estate). Ask any member of SKYRE, I agonised over finding a good name and acronym for months before finally choosing SKYRE. lol

Well I can't wait! I'll be shopping for a good house mod soon- I'll make sure I'll recommend any good ones I find along the way. Looking forward to seeing SKYRE as full as oblivion's! :D :D

I'm almost done with a buildable home mod that allows users to customize their home with different themes. Its also very clean, no unnecessary edits as of yet (I'm very OCD over dirty edits
o.<;).

Hopefully you guys will like it, you can see a few images of it on my profile.

My first thoughts on a cave housing mod was to use Blackreach as template but now that's mentioned I think I will build mine from scratch. XD I have long been poking around Blackreach in the CK, you can learn a lot about design from that cell. (For some reason the land around it is all broken up into floating cell areas... weird).
