maybe add an amulet that gives you a power once a day,
harmony of Talos
reduces shouting cooldown by 99% for 60 seconds.

I think that the shouting cooldown would be awsome and the fact it is temporary and once a day will make it balanced.

I support the mod fully and also love the ideas on this topic, especially this one. Would be a nice power to have once a day as kind of an "in case of emergency" type of situation :P.

I wouldn't like that very much.

Sounds like a rape-everything button.

I have been hoping for someone to make this for a long time. The quest option sounds great but the shout requirements sounds a little too much because some people might not have all the shouts required to gain progress. Great idea though. I hope this mod gets published in the future.

This would be a great mod for those who like to use the console commands such as 'psb' and then the add souls command.

Also if someone could make the snake or creature he's stepping on like a final boss or something sorta like the skeletal dragon in labrynthia. :)

I quickly skimmed to see if this mod was out there... couldn't find it. I can't let a great idea like this just die out!!

After searching a bit, I did find a few threads similar to this one, but they had gained little attention and I didn't think they presented the concept nice enough so I made my own one.

This is a mod request for the armor of Talos, as seen on the statues throughout Skyrim.

Posted Image

The armor parts:

Talos' Winged Helmet
-20% Shout Cooldown Reduction
+20% Speechcraft Bonus

Talos' Heavy Scale Armor
+25% Fire Resistance Bonus
+100 Fortify Health Bonus

Talos' Heavy Scale Gauntlets
+20% One Handed Damage
+20% Two Handed Damage

Talos' Heavy Scale Boots
+20% Stamina Regeneration Bonus
+50 Carry Weight Bonus

Talos' Cloak
+25% Frost Resistance Bonus
+20% Health Regeneration Bonus

Heavy Armor
Improvable via Dragon Smithing.
Stats are on Dragonplate level.

Lore
The armor that Talos wore during his conquest in Skyrim, it was abandoned when he continued his journey south, where he donned the Armor of Tiber Septim instead which was later used by Martin Septim in ending the Oblivion Crisis.
Its location is known only by the Greybeards, who awaits a champion worthy of wearing the armor of the Stormcrown.

Quest
Questgiver: Book found in High Hrothgar reveals the tomb location where the armor has been hidden by the Greybeards.
Details:
The tomb is built as a challenge to ward off the unworthy, and the Dovahkiin must show his skill in the Way of the Voice in order to pass through.

Some examples of challenges for the Dovahkiin:

Using Fire Breath to remove a wooden wall
Using Disarm to remove the weapon off a statue.
Using Elemental Fury to get a certain amount of hits in a certain timeframe.
A fall that requires Become Ethereal.
A hallway of traps that can either be tanked or dodged with Slow Time
A more advanced version of the Whirlwind Sprint trap

The shout restrictions ensure that not just any little Dovahkiin newbie can get through, as you must have found at least 6 correct word walls and killed just as many dragons.

Anyway, that's the gist of my suggestion. I tried to keep the suggestion balanced and within lore, and I hope you enjoyed reading it at least. I wanted a quest since lorewise this armor is WAY TOO EPIC to just be something that you can forge together using a few pieces of steel or something. People that just wanna have it instantly can just "Help Talos 0" in the console.

I hope I inspired someone, since this armor is TEASED at so much through the statues in-game and it's a shame it's not available.

I think the Shout Cooldown Reduction should be atleast 30-40% and the Defense should be Higher than Dragon Armor.

This is Talos Armor it's Not some Common crap Armor you find laying on the side of the road. Give Talos Armor some Major Power because It's a Legendary Set.

I really like the idea. Maybe a quest thats difficult to complete that spans several locations to recover things in pieces instead of all at once...like how the Gauldur Amulet was split up because of its power. Maybe the Graybeards would have split this up to prevent it all from falling into the wrong hands if discovered by some random adventurer. It could really be a great epic quest with new locations thats only startable once you reach a certain level in the game so people don't go off looking for to weak or if they do and manage to get it low level that could seriously throw off the balance of the game.

Adding my vote for this armor (I was about to request it myself). Although personally I care nothing for enchantments, quest tie-ins, or requirements - I just want the armor.

Hi people, Just letting you know that this caught my attention, and I think I'll try to create at least something similiar.
I am not modeler, but I try to achieve this via the alpha mapping technique I know.
But if I succeed.. it should be fairly easy to convert it into single mesh.

Edit:
Okay, starting to work as I've got some spare time now.
(As my Magical Equipment is in good state, and can't proceed with Oblivionwalker robes before CK is updated)
Check my image section for WIP's. Uploading those as I proceed.
