AI = Archive Invalidation.

When I installed the FOMOD, there were a handful of different mesh and texture options to select from. Have you tried selecting different options when installing the mod?

I tried limiting associated files to only FOMOD files when installing the mod manager and then deactivated and reactivated the mod, still no change. Yes I've tried different options when installing the mod, you mean the options such as HD berry, vanilla etc on the installation screen right?

It's so irritating, I can't see what I am doing wrong. I had Oblivion a while back and I seemed to be able to install the same types of mods pretty easily don't know why it's so difficult with Fallout.

Solved. Turns out all I needed was an update, god sometimes the simplest solution is always best.

you can take another texture rename it and paste it over this one or if you can use nifskope go manually change it

Ive tried all of the solutions posted to no prevail. I keep getting this stupid error message when I try to change my AI. im using FOMM and nexus mod manager. I also downloaded a archive invalidation mod that also does not work. any ideas??
