MORNING!!
Ya I'm going to be going for more of a simple steel plate sort of look nice a smooth and effective.
I mean there is plenty of skimpy to choose from but not a lot of real armor mods that look like there meant to protect ya know?

Currently I am working with just cylinders, extrude and loop cut, resize and such.... I need to rewatch the modeling video real quick cause I forgot how to squosh something into an oval shape ^^ so BRB and I'll have a newer Image, I got as far as forming a torso out last night but never finished.

Don't forget proportional editing. Hit "o" then grab a vertex and drag it to pull it and it's neighbors, like pulling piece of fabric. And scroll wheel to change the size of the area affected. Very handy for shaping around the body.

I'm thinking of making the skirt a lamellar style for mobility while keeping with the smooth plate feel.

However I am having a lot of trouble making a smooth contour for the breast area of the armor, while keeping perfect symmetry. or at all really

If you want to maintain symmetry, then select the chest piece and add the mirror modifier then delete the left half.

If the chest isn't a separate object, then select it in edit mode and hit "p" and choose "selected".

As you can see I managed the bust line somehow.
But as you can see I'm having issues with the shoulders and shoulder blades.
I have a few Ideas but I really could use some tips on how to make all this look a little more... realistic looking.

BTW all the sections are different objects save the flange on the knee that is and extruded section of the lower leg.
The legs are mirrored So left and right bottom and left and right top are the same object.

Dont forget reference images if you want realistic elements. And your normal maps and textures will play a big role in realism.

So for now focus on the simple shapes and add detail later?
I have a reverence but It's sort of only from the front ^^.

At the moment I'm trying to figure out how to make the connection of the skirt to the armor look realistic, same with the shoulder plates. as you can see I went with the lamellar.

Also I can't seem to mirror the Shoulder plates, the option is not in the list, and when I try to mirror the arm piece it does not mirror it in a way that I can slide it over to the other arm.
