[WIP] Dagi Khajiit Race

Hello!

Ever since Skyrim launched I've been pining for a solution similar to my Immersive Tabaxi back in Oblivion.

Months passed, the CK came around and nobody put forth what I was aching for, so I rolled up my sleeves and got to work. Some time, a lot of reverse engineering and headdesking and many coffee cups later I can comfortably present the state of this mod. Currently it only has assets for female Dagi, but already provides a big (arguably endless) variety of options to build some really rad cats.

Current technical problems: I'm attempting to build this into as vanilla friendly as I feasibly can, though the ears present a rather unique problem: Since I'm using the headmorphs of existing races, the human ears are intact on the sides of the head and the ears are an external HeadPart. Any hairstyle will have to cover the sides of the head in order to fit this race. These screenshots have me using Apachii SkyHair looks since most of them have very good coverage. I would appreciate ideas and feedback for release-state hair solutions.

I'm now starting my work on the male version. Comments, feedback and ideas are most welcome at this stage. I'm handcrafting every texture from scratch (though I think I'll settle with retouching the Vanilla Khajiit body for the start) and this is giving me a high amount of maneuverability in terms of creating unique and appealing looks. :)

This is looking really fantastic...I had originally planned on making a khajiit character, but now I think I will hold out for your mod. ;)

Yup, I'm simply using the standard Khajiit colour palette. :) I'm also making heavy use of the facial tinting options to colour parts like the forehead and the nose independently. Just about all the paint and tint maps are original.

..Yup, I think that's a pretty satisfactory amount of variety in the faces. Now to look at hairstyles and eyes and get rid of that neck seam for both genders.
