That'd be the ideal situation, which it is not tyreil. We do have some extremely promising looking modders coming up tho, including a few animators.

^That's a nice thought, but I really don't believe it at all. Giskard's mods inspired others by showing what was possible, and there are only a few in the community that are on that level of vision, and I see them getting bashed all the time too. I have not yet played any JQ's actual quest mods, though it's in "the folder for someday" jealously guarded and protected. If you contrast JQ and Giskard, you really see how uniquely individual a great modder's work is, each as individual and unique as a snowflake or a fingerprint. The sad truth is, individuals with that kind of creative flair and talent don't come along every day, and this community is hugely blessed that we do have many great modders among us.

We really need to be more supportive and appreciative of all of them, or they will all be gone, and unfortunately they may take their wonderful works with them.

^Sad but totally true, we do however need to accept the fact that even if 100 people praise your work every day, even one a'hole can ruin it with just a single sentence. Human mood just gets so much more easily affected by negative things than positive ones and this is one of the reasons that why modders tend to get 'bashed'(no pun intended) to death. There are just too many trolls that don't appreciate what is given and want either more, or don't like your work, bash you for it and ignore all rules of basic code of conduct.

JQ was a huge loss, so was Giskard, at least we still do have great modders here like LHammonds, OVASephiroth, zotman a.k.a. Hentai, tona, lera & pizz and many, many more.(Considering all the oblivion modding communities we have, don't feel insulted if not mentioned here, only giving examples.) The community has suffered losses, admittedly huge ones, but we do need to appreciate what we still have and make sure the new promising ones won't be flamed to death before they get to hone their skills, at least the mods are doing their best to remove the trolls so this place acts as a safe haven.

nah i don't think he will for a while he will miss us to much to leave + hes got a job that Dark0ne doesn't pay him for so he enjoys it
