Wanted to say I enjoy this mod very much, floris is a bit overwhelming for me and yet this one seems to hit the right tones, if I may offer anything on the nature of what I'd like to see in this mod is this, I do believe that on one of the native compilations there is a mod that lets you design your own troops for your faction when you form a kingdom, it's a feature I really really enjoyed, the compilation mod is still in dev so there are a few too many bugs to deal with at this point. If I may ask if this in the works at all? it's a feature as I stated as something I really enjoy having in my game.
Also, if you could use some more of Cabra's Diplo mod and put it in that would be really swell, in my humble opinion he really hit the nail on the head with that one.
Suffice to say however i've greatly enjoyed this mod and plan to keep up with the updates to it, truly despite the above, really really good work and my kudos to you.

I'm not sure which type of 'custom designed troops' mod you're referring to as there are a few. Floris & Custom Commander had the freelance mercenaries that let you select gear from a preset "inventory list". There is at least one mod I am aware of that lets you adjust the stats of the troops, but needs to be redone with each new character. This may be something I look into in the future, but for right now there are larger projects I have yet to tackle. In the meantime you can easily edit the player's custom troop tree with morph's editor and then select that as your kingdom's culture (if you're a ruler) in which case all of your centers will offer these troops as recruits and your vassals will use them to recruit from.
If you're referring to Caba'drin's PBOD+Diplomacy mod this includes the PBOD aspect of that. This mod, however, uses its own diplomacy system that would not be compatible with the diplomacy mod. I have incorporated numerous individual features (my own versions of them) that the Diplomacy mod has. If there are other features you'd like to see just put in a suggestion ticket at the Assembla site linked at the top post.
Glad to hear you're enjoying the mod and I really do appreciate the feedback from folks. Good, bad or indifferent, it's helpful to hear what folks like or dislike and what they're interested in seeing.

Thank you for the speedy and professional response to my questions, I apologize if I was too vauge with the custom troops, is morphs editor in this mod or do I need to go somewhere else for it?
Also yes I was referring to Cabadrin's mod, I see that you are going to do your own thing and I do in fact look forward to it, I apologize again as I didn't mean to insult or demean your mod, just say that it feels a bit weird not having his mod as the diplomacy function in the mod somewhere (more of a testament on how much I play his mod I guess), so I look forward to your ideas and plans on this mod.
Again thank you for the quick reply, its heartening to see a mod's creator active, so many end up dead half way thru so I'll count this as a good sign.

To be clear no offense was taken, I just intend to go a different route than the one used by the Diplomacy mod. Companions filling in advisory roles vs. unique troops (that appear in every castle) or instance. They did a lot of neat stuff in the Diplomacy mod which is why I don't mind looking for influence from it when I go about improving my own mod. Part of why I choose to develop my own systems vs. using "plug-in OSP" mods as we did with Floris is because the original authors are no longer supporting their work. This means then having to go back and bugfix or improve systems built by someone else vs. custom tailoring them in the first place. It does, however, mean that development of the mod to where I see it in late production will be slower than it could have been.

I see, thank you for that reply, one last question if I may ask before I stop bugging you, you mentioned in the pervious post a editor, I'm not sure where to find it nor really if I can use it, despite my love of mods for my various games I'm a bit leery of messing around with text files. If at all possible could you let me know where I can find this editor? I'd PM you about it yet I seem unable to here.
Thanks anyway for answering some questions, count me as someone who plans to watch this mod!

In response to post #7556762. #7558387, #7561616, #7562013, #7562463 are all replies on the same post.
Morph's EditorYou can edit troops, items, factions, etc. It lets you edit the text files, however, those changes are only good for the current version you're playing. To have changes be persistent between new versions the module system is needed. However, I haven't really made much in the way of changes to troops or items at all so those kind of changes should be easily to transfer over (overwrite the new troops.txt and items.txt with your own).

Great
Loving The new updates especially the new sounds and blood tweaks in 1.4 Amazing!
but maybe you could add a stamina system like in the byrtenwalda mod
But Still my favorite Mod

Thank you. I'm always happy to hear folks enjoying the mod and if you have suggestions for improvements toss a ticket in at the Assembla site (link is above). That is also the easiest way to see "what's cooking" for the next version generally. The info on what is being developed is fairly transparent and commentary on tickets (yours or not) is quite welcome.
