By the way, how did you get the rug to go down the stairs? I don't remember a static that does that...

That's cool. May be a bit of work though.

A lot of rugs set at right angles to eachother.

That it will be, since we are taking something that is four years in the making and only a third done as far as some game stats are concerned, but we will get this done, even if I am in a wheele chair by that time. That's cool. May be a bit of work though.

Well, I hope it won't be that bad in any case.

i was just wondering how long it took to make what you have made and how long it took you to completely learn how to use the CS vandorsen.

It took about 12 days to get this far... But a lot of that (4 days) was trying to correct mistakes I had made (at one point, anyone you walked up to cried out "Ah! A vampire!” regardless of whether you were one or not). But I was not doing anything else at the time, and could devote 6 to 8 hours straight to working on it. Now it is going a bit slower, and I am taking my time adding details (furniture, etc.), and I do not work on it at all after [adult swim] on Cartoon Network starts.i was just wondering how long it took to make what you have made and how long it took you to completely learn how to use the CS vandorsen.
As far as the CS goes, I would hardly say that I have mastered it, but I think I have the bulk of it figured out. This forum, and those on it have proven invaluable in helping me do this right. I have been able to ask a question or for some pointers from most of the "higher-ups", and they have been very generous in their help. I still cannot get dialog to work correctly, and I am still rather a novice when it comes to scripting, but I am still learning.
If I can offer any advice as a “master novice”, it would be to take your time, do not expect immediate perfection, and keep your mind open to doing it differently.
Also, I have updated the download again. It is available at My Website. I have made some significant changes, including the removal of the ornimental inner wall, and the closing off portions of the Level 2 Crypt (untill I figure out just what I want down there).

I have a rather radical update to this mod. I have more or less rebuilt the exterior of the castle to better scale with the interior. I have also completed the servants/guard quarters and updated the courtroom. It is available for download at Hauptstadt Download. Additionally, I have setup a dedicated http server apart from my two main computers to better serve them.

As you can see from the picture below, the inner wall has been removed, the size of the keep has been made larger, as well as the wings. (larger versions of both pics are available above).

***Update: For those who intend to download one of the early releases of this mod (betas, if you will), the download site will be unavailable for the time being. I reloaded the server, and lost the original website. Stangeways will be redesigning the site and I will update this thread again once that has happened. For those who would still like an updated copy of the mod, I have set up a limited FTP site. Please PM-me for the login information.
Thank you for your interest.

***Update: I just got the server up and running last night (again). I am done fiddling with it for the time being (as it is stable), so the pre-release mod is available for download at Electron Industries Website for those who are interested to see the progress of this little project. Although not reflected in that release, I have now completed the general architecture of the Keep, and am now working on filling in the details. As soon as Strangeways' computer is back up and running, there will be NPCs and perhaps a quest or two added to it. At that point, there will be two different versions: The Architectural mod by itself, and the version with NPCs and quests.
Also, here is a new Screen Shot (taken from the CS)-
