What errors do these games give? And even if there's no error messages, it doesn't mean it hasn't saved it in a file somewhere else - Oblivion often puts stuff in ProgramFlow.txt, in its root directory, for example.

If its any error involving something like 'Access Denied', 'Insufficient permissions', 'Unable to open file', etc, then it is something to do with your documents folder being marked as private/hidden/etc

In general, its best not to make any changes at all to your base My Documents folder, as it can mess up all sorts of stuff, and limited users cant view it anyway, so theres no point.

its now fixed i somehow made Appaucation Data hidden in my docs its nows working as it was thanks for all your help and i hope to repay the favor
