Hello again, I started a new game and have not removed any mods since starting, and I am getting crashes seemingly everywhere(conversations, combat, just walking around, indoors/outdoors etc). The following is always the last line in my papyrus log-

As I say, I have not uninstalled any mods since I reinstalled the game, so I am not sure what my problem is....if someone has any suggestions, I would be most grateful.

 

As I've mentioned before, the "cannot enable an object with an enable state parent" error is completely harmless, and it simply means that scripts are not allowed to disable objects if they have an "enable parent" linked to them. Trying to disable such objects will simply be ignored by the game and will not cause CTDs. As there is no way in Papyrus to query if a reference has an enable parent, it is not possible to circumvent this error.

 

"Note that references with an Enable Parent cannot be enabled or disabled independently of their parent, even through script. Their disable/enable state is always determined by their enable parent." - CK wiki.

 

 

Hi Steve, thanks for your response. Obviously, I don't really know what I am doing here with regards to the Papyrus log, but are you saying that the last lines shown there are not the cause of my crashes, so I should be looking elsewhere?

yes Im using unofficial skyrim patch as I was told that it fixes some bugs that are still not fixed by patches.looks like it didnt.I was using sos but I uninstalled it some while ago.My current quicksave is 9mb big.

So uninstalling uskp will solve my problems probabely ? thank u very much for taking a look at my problem.I have over 100 hours in skyrim and the last time I want to do is starting a new game.

 

btw I just ran boss looks like a mod modified my update.esm in a bad way ? I replaced it with a fresh one but boss still says its edited.The cleaning guide isnt specific enough

 

on how to clean the update.esm file in my case.

 

These plugins are recognised by BOSS and have been sorted according to its masterlist. Please read any attached messages and act on any that require action.

Are you sure it was USKP, not SKSE that you uninstalled? From your Papyrus logs, it looks like some of the essential SKSE scripts have now been deleted. You may need to reinstall SKSE.

 

Edit: don't get hung up on the BOSS "errors", they are false positives. Update.esm is Bethesda's patch, so naturally it will have made changes to the vanilla records :)

 

Edit2: the usual cause of a crash at the Beth logo happens when you try to load a mod that depends on a master file (*.esm, either from vanilla, a DLC or a mod) but that masterfile is either missing or not activated. So for example, if you load a mod that requires Hearthfires but Hearthfires.esp is not activated, then the game will crash immediately.

yes it crashed only before main menu if I didnt have uskp installed cause of ASIS needed to be rebuild after I delete or add any new mod.

 

I uninstalled uskp then rerun asis.jar and now it didnt crash when killing the specific mage bandit who always gave me the ctd after he died.

The short answer is yeah, they are false positives. Your problem lies elsewhere.

Hi guys, would love some help. I have had problems since installing Dawnguard. I love it- - I love Dawnguard. I would rather have DG than pretty much any and all mods... except the UNP body replacer and say Trees for Solitude-- hey, aesthetics are my main thing for mods.

 

Anyway, DG doesn't seem to like the Skyrim environment that I dropped it into. First I got a soul cairn ctd. I reloaded an autosave (according to a lot of people, that was one of my first mistakes).

 

Since then, a bounty of ctds and freezes. Thing is, I would love to junk most of my mods and keep DG, but I am not sure that is an option. I will try it. If that fails I will uncheck DG instead. This is a 550-hour 62nd-level character (I know, ridiculous; I guess I am a "role-player"), so I am guessing those mods are so baked into my saves that my only hope is to scrap DG AND keep the mods. Though, granted, I try to avoid mods with scripts, and I attempted the "stopquest zGoreEffectsNPCQuest" -type console commands to uninstall "Enhanced Blood Textures", the one mod I've used that has a script folder as far as I know.

 

Bye the way, my papyrus logs keep showing a repeating error on the DAWNGUARD RUNE AXE .psc. I've never touched that weapon or quest. I've used the Dust Drop fix provided by Steve40 to get rid of the fxDustDropRandomSCRIPT error, but that rune axe one, man, don't know how to get rid of that. My savegame is 14.5mb.

Its still crashing but a lot less now which makes it playable for me.been playing for about half an hour and got that again.ctd happened after killing a dark brotherhood assasin.

Maybe the crash source is just so deeply rooted in my savegames that its not possible to get it out again.

 

Could I deactivate all mods make a vanilla save and reactivate all mods and load the save again ?
