So I loaded up the CK today and started editing a mod. After a while I went to rotate something on the Y axis but saw that I couldn't. I tryed to even move it on the Y axis but all I got was the camera giving me different views when I pressed the Y key.

I didn't do anything to the CK (at least I don't think I did). This is bugging the hell out of me since i'm in the middle of decorating a castle...

Need help ASAP!

That keyboard shortcut to lock on the y axis for moves and rotates appears to have been removed in the latest update.

I am similarly unimpressed.

I also noticed that being able to 'center' on an item in the creation kit by hitting 'C'.. is no longer available.. it's now about moving the item. At least 'T' will still get ya to the top. :psyduck:

Both keys have been swapped. The Y axis is now the C key. This is to keep the 3 axis keys together, Z, X, znd C (Y).

The old C key function is now mapped to Y

That makes sense in a nonsensical way, cheers!

That is so idiotic...anyway to switch it back? My brain is programmed to use the Y key lol. I mean the GECK still uses the Y key...

That's about f***ing stupid.  Every 3D editor on the market uses X, Y, and Z to manipulate objects on a corresponding axis.  Thanks much Tamb0
