What about requiem not working at all? Adding or updating mods during game is a likely suspect.

Sneaking in Requiem is harder than in Vanilla Skyrim, but far from impossible. You are only doomed to fail if you try to sneak without any perks at all. Staying in the shadows and moving slowly should suffice to remain hidden at low levels, but you likely need some experience before you can sneak up to melee range.

The "darkest area" is a very subjective accessment. Many lighting overhauls, like ENB or Climates of Tamriel use post-processing techniques. This means that the image becomes darker, but technically it has the same brightness as in vanilla because the light-sources remain unchanged. Realisting Lighting Overhaul on the other hand directly edits the light-sources instead of using post-processing and thus has a significant impact on sneaking in Requiem.

In short: no fix for this "issue", because it works fine for everyone else and is thus likely an issue with your personal setup.

Are dawnguard and dragonborn supported? I see that it says it requires dawnguard but i've heard the expansions need a patch to work properly with the mod.

Hi, Ogerboss!
I found your mod by looking for a strong role-play-enhancing mod about Skyrim. Though I have not yet tested it, most of features look pleasant to me (in regards of realism, lore, etc...) and I am more than eager to try it!
Yet, I have a (first) cristicism about it. As said before, I haven't played it yet, but I have read the manual. And, though it would not stop me from playing with your mod, I had some mixed feelings about what you said about the Divines in the F.A.Q. Actually, the part about Talos, whom you said would no longer bless Dragonborns who joined the imperial army.

Well... Not that I want to bring up the Imperial/Stormcloak argument again, but I'd like to say that some players actually consider staying faithfull to Talos while (if not by) serving the imperial army. Furthermore, some imperial NPCs already secretely worship Talos (which is, IMO, the case of most Imperials).

And I am wondering if it wouldn't be possible, for example, to still have the favors of Talos while the Draonborn joins the imperial side. For example, the Dragonborn would have to pray regularly on the altars, to show his/her faith, but would get an occasional blessing (one out of four prayers, or based on the number of prayers per week...). And to add some drawbacks, like the Dragonborn getting filed by the Thalmor, who would send Justiciars to get him/her, or turn their patrols hostile to him/her...

Anyway, this is just a suggestion from a player who likes to side with the Imperials. I already appreciate the work you've made, Xarrian and you. And that Talos stuff is not what would change my mind about it. It's just, you know, the tiny speck you don't like on a nice picture...

Cordailly,

Pyroproctos.

Bleaks Falls Barrow exists as a test. If you can't clear that dungeon, then you are not ready to do the main quest and fight dragons. It's frustrating at first, but over time you'll learn to appreciate it. Why? Because it gives you an excuse to go off and do some other tasks. Join the Companions if your a warrior type character, or if your not do a few bounty missions for gold and experience.

If you have Interesting NPCs, bring a follower with you such as Gorr or Zora-Fair Child. Don't get Hjormir, that farmboy will die in two seconds.

I've never seen animals choose to run away from me because I had a bow in my hands. They only run away from me if they have low health. I only remember seeing a sabrecat and 2 wovles close together at 1 location (which I admit was weird). Perhaps they should be hostile to each other (over territory and to eliminate that). One thing to keep in mind, is that the enemy might see or hear you sneak up to a dark area, so even if you stand there for a bit, they know you're there and they may even attack after a little while (because some cats do that, even if you are standing in 1 spot in clear view). If you stand close enough for long enough they will attack you eventually.

This mod modifies Dawnguard. That's why it's required. There's a Dragonborn Requiem patch to get Dragonborn to work. You can search for it or copy and paste this link: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38197/?
