No, Santa's elves. They'd have to live underground or else they would be publically viewable, have to be engineers to build half of the stuff that usually gets asked for for christmas nowadays, and grow beards out of an admiration for their boss. Or something. Admittedly, the beard bit needs work.

In the end I guess it all comes down to personal taste. I like elegant and graceful people, so I'm going to say Ayleid, other people like rough and tough so they'll choose Dwemer.
