Items that are on people or in containers can sometimes be baught. I have gone through and found imperial armor in a crate near a shop owner at a fort and other shopps. Usually crates that are near a shop owner can be sold to you

There are the locations of all the imperial armor with the legion script that are not on an NPC in the game except for the lords mail. Also I believe that many shop owner selll items that are in their shops in the open or in chest in their shops. IT IS POSSIBLE TO BUY ARMORS WITH THE SCRIPT. You might not be able to by the steel but the chain has the script and the person wants armro with a script. All the armor in the trade houses can be baught and some can be baught in forts.

-Sirollus Saccus, Ebonheart, Hawkmoth legion fort
-Erla, Moonmoth legion fort, interior

I have looked up all the instances of the scripted armor in the game and have listed them. :angry2: Dont shout at me that it cannot :angry2: . I have looked it upp in the game reasouces and have found the locations. The imperial sellers are imperials who sell items and have crates or openly displayed armor very close to them. They should be able to sel them and i remember buying armro from them. The only reason you would need the armor is because of the script that is on it. A;so when i said all i was trying to say that it was possible an imperial currias, pauldron, helm, etc. For me personally i think of chain and steel as being interchangable since they are practically the same except for armor type.
