DSAMG - Dragon Soul Absorb More Glorious is a mod that attempts to make the process of dragon soul absorbing more satisfying. Up until the beginning of this month, this was done purely through careful sound editing, and five slightly different versions were available for download:

1. ORCHESTRAL V1
2. KEVKAS' EDITS OF ORCHESTRAL V1
3. ORCHESTRAL V2
4. CHANTING

At the beginning of June, I watched the Skyrim pre-release trailer and E3 gameplay demo again and realized there was still a lot of room for improvement. I put together two new versions to emulate that footage:

5. TRAILER VERSION
6. E3 DEMO VERSION

Perhaps more importantly, I renewed my efforts at learning Papyrus, which had produced nothing but frustration before. After several days of toiling without any results, the stars aligned, and my script finally compiled. Booting up a test run, I could scarcely believe my screen - my Dovahkiin had come to life and was performing the ritual spell animation. Eureka! Since then, I have ironed out some of the wrinkles with the animation and the new versions. There are now seven[u/] musical versions available, two scripts, and an optional [color=cadetblue]male victory cry that can be combined with any of the versions.

Here is some footage of the latest release:

In the near future, I will try and create a female victory cry. A rudimentary version is available as a WIP in the miscellaneous section. I am also trying to clean up the mod so that it only affects dragon soul absorption and not word wall sounds or sequences in which Greybeards impart their knowledge of the Thuum to you.

More to come!

Personally, I like the song being used for when you learn new words from walls (I'm using the 'E3 Demo Version No Victory Cry' version).

The Greybeards quest sequence could be improved, that I won't argue, but it's not a big deal for me honestly, I can live with that.
