When I try to run Morrowind Code Patch.exe in my Morrowind folder, a window pops up but then immediately disappears, and nothing more happens, meaning I can't get the mod working. Does anyone know how to fix this?

a) legal copy?
b) run the game outside programfiles?
c) run morrowind.exe/morrowindlauncher.exe/MCP.exe as admin?

i already installed this patch, and its installed just fine
but i wonder if my morrowind really installed by this mod, because the version morrowind should show mcp version?
but mine didnt change to mcp, stil on morrowind version
