im not sure if this has come up before but this is my first time using the mod manager and im not certain what kind of noob mistake i have made but. my mod manager simply doesn't work...
i downloaded the mods using the nexus mod manager and activated them as per the instructions i was reading told me too but when i try to play skyrim nothing the mods had no effect, i later found out that i could activate the mods on the skyrim launcher but that option is just greyed out on mine.. has this happened to anyone other than me? can anyone help?

My guess is you encountered the same issue as me http://s1.zetaboards...opic/4841706/1/

I fixed it but frankly, once you start modding it's almost inevitable you'll get out of your depth and cause a game you liked and could play stress free to become unstable and/or crash. Skyrim was running smoothly but then like a smart ass I thought getting hot naked women or extra spells/locations might be fun. I've spent two days trying to get stuff to work with each other and I'm now at the point of saying it's probably not worth it. Installing about five or so mods is ok.. Trying to install many mods even with BOSS and NMM supposedly to simplify things (rather too much) just leads to conflicts and grief. Plus in the end it ruins the game realism, once you've seen how something is constructed it all starts crumbling in terms of realism.
