Hello,

As you can read from the headline, I really do not know how to upload my mod to the steam workshop.

I follow the steps of the official tutorial. But at "File > Upload Plugin and Archive to Steam", I cant select any files. There are no files auto selected and there is no option to select any files. This window does normally show up, but thats as far as I can get. There are no further options, the "Pack Files" Button gets me to save my mod (but I havent selected anything). If i open up my Skyrim/Data folder beside the Creation Kit, and try to drag and drop my Mod files from there to the mod window, it just says that the selected data is not valid.

So, how do I select my Mod and finally upload it to the Steam workshop?

I don't use Steam myself, But I'll try.
The Creation Kit does not support drag and drop.
You have to open your mod by selecting the little folder icon in the top left corner (1) then selecting your mod from the list(2).
Make sure you press "Set as Active File" (3), and Finally "OK"(4). Wait for it to load.

This is where I start guesing. Then you "Should" be able to select "Upload Plugin and Archive to Steam"

There is not a single tutorial about Uploading the mods (maybe i missed one but i dont think so), and the official tutorial gets me nowhere.

Okay this has got me in a tizzy. I have a mod that uses no custom meshes, no custom scripts, and even if artifacts of the scripts I fiddled with still exist they aren't needed. No custom textures. I just take exisiting objects and meshes and mix them up. Like making a container that used to be a chest look like a potion bottle.

And every time I try to upload to Steam and be awesome, I get shut down. I can open a window that's trying to archive things I don't need and I can find no way around that step. Even the Steam Workshop doesn't have anywhere you can just upload your .esp. Nowhere to create a new Mod page and just upload the file.

Please help. I would love to get this mod out, I've spent like a year and a half on and off building the damn thing. It's too freaking cool not to share.

EUREKA!!!!

All friggin' right!!!

Okay. I have a mod that requires no scripts but one pops up in the window when I ask the CK to make an archive. The other item was a shader and I have no idea how that could be credited to me. I touched nothing like that. Anyway, So it literally seems like CK just wants some stuff to chew on and create a BSA for you. I created a .bsa using my entire scripts folder which is a waste of space and since some of my scripts may have been edited by mods that you good people don't have that's actually really bad but I successfully created a "dummy" .bsa. Once I managed that the upload went perfectly. Now I just have to figure out how to get my hands on the single script I created. Also anyone care to download the mod to see if it crashes or not and help a sister out?
