Maybe we can work around it with the right console command. If you set the stage to dlc1vq02 180(i think it was) will be the one for chosing the vampire side. If we then add vampire lord with the help of the console(someone mentioned that earlier in the thread) and could somehow type in the code for the following quest to start? Problem is that it will probably bug out really quickly

EDIT:: I have made some progress. When i type in dlc1vq02 180, will lead to quest completed. Harkon will then go away. If you follow Harkon he will go into the room there you are supposed to wake up after being bitten. He will then talk like he just bit you. And he will ask you to go into Vampire lord form. I am hoping that i can find the command for the spell, and hopefully continue the quest.

Ah very interesting when I tried that, he would go to the room but wouldn't speak to me he would just sit there and look at me funny. I will try what you said when I get back from work see if it works for me. Thanks for the update!

I accesed the quest that comes right after by setstagedlc1vampirebaseintro 20. I now think i can continue to progress through the storyline
EDIT: Everything works good for me now, i hope what i wrote works for everybody else

I only get 'script not found' no progression in the quest at all :s

Even though I can get the next quest to start by consoling the first quest and giving myself vampire lord powers, nobody in the castle recognizes me as a vampire lord and the guy wont lead me out of the castle.

As I suspected, I can get myself vampire lord form and powers n things (which is AWESOME btw) I can't start the next quest and Harkon still won't talk to me..Perhaps I need to add myself to the faction or...is vampire lord a separate race? Like vampire is?

I've heard when you make a whole new character and try it again it will work again.
Now that my "cannot dismount horse" bug is gone since i play with my new orc i hope it also solve the harkan issue.
I will tell you as soon as i get to that spot.

EDIT: no it didnt worked harkon still go back to the table and stares at me

I don't suppose anyone's still working on this problem? The "setstage dlc1vq02 180" doesn't seem to work for me. Like Muzu was sayin, typing it in Harkon wanders off to a room (which I'm assuming is his), plops down in front of the fireplace, and never says a word to you thereafter. Perhaps I typed in "setstage dlc1vq02 180" at the wrong time?

he just looks at me when i go upstairs and when i press talk, he just looks at me like im an idiot, this is something Bethesda needs to figure out :/, and i tried the console commands, still nothing
