Tyrannicon, creator of a number of impressive battle videos, has given Zack Snyder's movie 300 the Skyrim treatment.

The video has even attracted the attention of Skyrim Executive Producer Todd Howard.

During today’s QuakeCon panel, “The Game of Making Games”, Todd Howard shared that his current favorite Skyrim video is Skyrim: 300 (Battle of Thermopylae).

Mark Cripps is a nice chap, I have been working with him over the past few months on Throthgar (the mod not the videos).

I can't wait to get some free time so I can add his character to Skyrim.

Yup it's one of that few Machinima that really strike these days though it has flaws that could have been avoided and made it even more impressive in the end. Great admiration and respect for the author of the film and the mods authors who helped create such a great and epic opus.

Pretty darn cool but there are some better alternatives to some of the weapons and shields. The Falcata short sword- Bob's Armory, Hothtrooper's helmets from his Redguard armor. There is also a nice looking Redguard shield here that looks more period and if nothing else more middle eastern. I was kind of disappointed with the Immortals using Samurai swords too. Still all in all a great video and it is amazing what so many mod authors have done for this game. Edit: You guys are a tough crowd, I guess opinions on being more detail oriented and a little more historically accurate is thought of as disreputable here...
