Slacker.

And about the region question -- no. They're everywhere. I've seen them in the West Gash, the Bitter Coast, the Ashlands, the Ascadian Isles... Even on the slopes of Red Mountain.

You, sir, are a moron.

Indeed, alchemists and apothecaries are your best shot, but bittergreen is in no way easy to find, outside of a few areas of course ;)

#1 - Mournhold (usually in the Magic Shop)

#2 - Numerous traders through Vivec have them, and either usually 5 or 10 of each. Considering you're needing them for the roots I take it, 5 will be enough.

#3 - Ashlanders. Believe it or not, some ashlanders can sell you nice items. Some of the plants and items that are harder to come across out in the nature are usually right in their pocket.

#4 - Many, many different traders may also have them. One of my favorites is Suran. I loot the three yurts (and take the scrolls from hetman for the blighted queens) and just by doing that you can find 3-4. There is usually one more at the trade tables right in front of you once you arrive from the silt strider. Another easy way to get a few, Seyda Neen usually has 2 or 3. You probably sold some to Arrile's already, he will keep those in stock usually.

You, sir, are an idiot. His question has been answered two weeks ago and bittergreen is quite easy to find in the wild -- I even said so in my post... two weeks ago.
