I've just gotten dawnguard and the new patch and I can't seem to attack or cast spells. I can only use power attacks. I've tested out the game without any mods on a new game but the attack and spells don't work.

If your using any mods that depend on skse [script extender] make sure to have the latest version on skse Current release build (1.5.11, compatible with runtime 1.7.7.0 on 4 August 2012), the had a beta one since July 23rd but they updated again since then

using the latest skse 1.5.11 doesn't work. it's been narrowed downed to the latest patch 1.7.7.06. here's a link to the same topic.

just roll back to skyrim update 9 and use skse_1_05_09.7z
