Moth spell bug?

Sup guys :)

I was finishing that quest where you have to gather moth swarms and then read the Elder Scroll in the column of light, when my Elder Scrolls just vanished from my inventory even after adding them by console. Then I used a command to finish the quest(setstage dlc1vq06 60, if i remember correctly) and then the quest finished and started the one to get the Bow, but the Moth Swarms and light around me just didn't disappeared.... So now I'm an enlighted warrior surrounded by moths! If someone here could share a solution (like the removespell command or smth like that) i would be really grateful!

Thanks in advance :)

My guess is that the effect of the script did not end because you did not end the quest with out using the console form the start of the quest. You might have to reset the end stage again or try from the start of the stage then to the end of the stage by using the console, that my guess.

You mean by activating the quest and ending it again? Already did that.... do you know any command to stop/delete that script?

Here is a list of console commands from Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages

Here are some you could try

setactoralpha <0-100> Changes the selected actors alpha/opacity.

Useful for repairing unwanted graphic glitches after adding and removing certain permanent spell effects. E.g., player.setactoralpha 100 will reset unwanted invisibility effects and make your character visible again.

dispelallspells Dispels all temporary spell effects on target

Example: player.dispelallspells dispels any magic effect on the player including buffs/debuffs (not attributes/skills changed with the console), potions/poisons, DoT effects, and activated powers (except beast form and other morphs).

tscr Toggle script processing.

Toggle script processing off or on globally.

disable Don't render the selected object (includes actors.)

The object will be made invisible, collision will also be turned off and AI won't process on the object, but scripting on the object will run (unlike Oblivion, where it would instantly crash to desktop, the player can't be disabled).

Also see enable

Maybe adding the scroll's by console bug's the quest and you actually have to remove them from blackreach and the soul cairn location's

I got them the legit way, but when I was supposed to read them inside the column of light, they disappeared from my inventory and then I had to use to command to see if they appeared again. And I even tried to re-do this quest (with a previous savegame before entering the cave) without any mods on, so I had to use the console to complete the quest.

Thanks for the help!

So, here's what I got:

setactoralpha 0 after clicking on my char - I got invisible, and the moths got invisible too! When I set it to 100 again everything returned to normal. Looks like I'll have to be invisible forever if I want the moths swarm to go away.

dispelallspells / player.dispelallspells - just the Shrine/Divines blessings went away, the moths got away unharmed :(

tscr - No effects, even after targetting my player.

disable - I discovered that the moths are a part of the player, if I target them I target myself, but still nothing happens.

I think this is the same case as the Aetherium Lava effect, a member from Nexus uploaded an .esp file where he had to delete the Lava Effect from Dawnguard, because all console comands to disable it from his screen just didn't seem to work. I'll try to PM him to see if he can help me, and then I'll point him to this topic.

Thanks for the help until now guys! :)

Well, make a new save game and quick save.

1- Go third person and go to console. Click yourself and type disable, then Enable. Did it help?

2- Disable yourself, quick save, then reload. After reload, click enable on yourself. Did it help?

None worked.... And I really didn't want to do a whole new save (I know that you didn't mean this) but this bug is really annoying me.....
