Well, the game doesn't end unless you die, so... we can safely say that the most significant part of the game (as far as the plot is concerned) is the Blades Quest, and that after finishing that quest one can safely claim to have won the game

The 'Prize' is the ring of Azura - a pretty unexciting ring; night eye 20 pts, restore fatigue 3 pts CE - and a big boost in reputation. On the way he does drop his own ring which is a lot nicer. I have a collection from all the Dagoths and I can't remember which is his. Someone else will know it and its properties no doubt.

Dagoth Ur drops a ring? Crap! I tricked him to walk off the edge of the platform and into the lava. What is the name of the ring? Or is it the ring that Dagoth Ur drops the first time you kill him?

It's the Heart Ring, which the first reincarnation of Dagoth Ur drops in the doorway to Akulakhan's Chamber. The Ring does:

Dispel 20-50
Lightning Shield 10-20
Resist Fire 30-50
Resist Frost 30-50
