Hooray! This will go perfectly with my beloved vampire and vampire spouse.
Wonder if I could turn the kid into a vampire. Or growing my own vampire clan?
The options are limitless!!!
/sarcasm off
Awesome for xbox users, not sure about PC.

It would seem this DLC also makes many of the cooking mods obsolete since new ingredients, such as butter and sack of flour, and recipes, such as bread, apple pie and garlic bread and more, is available with the furnace. Such a good addition. I hope they add slaughterfish recipes for the cooking pot as well.

@sanguine6
it isn't a bad addition at all, since now we can see how bethesda thought of how to create buildings. sure, experienced modders see it right away, but, if you get an addOn which shows you how to build a house you can also see how bethesda thinks of the navmesh in skyrim. using the addon should show what happens when you do what and can therefore make modding easier, or am i wrong here?

Does anyone know if this add-on will also be released for PC? This Trailer seems like it will only be available for the XBox- Version of the game. Anyone knows?

Yes it will probably be available for PC as well. Xbox will have 1 month of exclusivity though, meaning the PC DLC will come out roughly 1 month after the Xbox one. Beth had an agreement with Microsoft that the first 2 DLCs will have 1 month of exclusivity on the Xbox, this means future DLCs will probably release around the same time for both platforms.
Dunno about the PS3 since it looks like Beth isn't putting that much importance on their PS3 client base.

if you watch this video it will show the hearthfire dlc. and this was created in february before build your own home mod even came out. so bethesda did not steal the idea from mods

I agree that this is more aimed at the xbox users since pc players have more player abodes to choose from than you can shake a stick at!
I also agree with the sentiment that I'd really love it if Bethesda released a dlc that simply added depth & immersiveness to what's already there - added dialog, NPCs, buildings & interiors, more critters (like the goblins) and maybe a few mini-quests with some unique dungeons. They made Skyrim big, so what's really needed is to flesh it out a bit. I'd certainly pay for that.
