I would be disappointed with this, but you can see this as the potential Frostcrag Spire of skyrim and its not Bethesda's fault that the modding community for skyrim is ten times larger and more knowledgeable than oblivions only nine months from launch.

Bethesda's releases this stuff on schedule, obviously the community progresses faster and can get more done with how large we are. And hey, there has to be more to come.

That said I'm not sure how I'll be putting this to use.

... and even MOUNTED MUDCRABS ...!
OMG... how long I've been waiting for that!
Joking apart, this looks quite nice! Wouldn't have expected that they'd come up with such an idea, which had formerly always been left to modders ...

Um, You know its good but ah there's already several mods out that allow players to do everything Hearthfire offers. I guess its reall a dlc for consul users. I wow we can already build a home and adopt children and protect it from invaders.

Nice extra models for modders thou I suppose like a baking oven. mybe the family system will be more solid since its by the developer.

wow... a "build your own house" mod remake

Let's hope Apple did not squat this patent too or is going to sue both...
lol

jokes aside how much is going to cost?
It seems pretty limited for a paid Dlc.

This actually looks alright. Bethesda haven't stolen anything from modders, as the game jam video proves. This Hearthfire thing is, (like they said), just a tiny thing that they thought that we may like. Any extra content is good in my opinion as long as it's not overpriced. And $5 is not exactly overpriced.
