well i got a particle effect an an animation from max to the cs... just that it absolutely awkward and not really what i want yet... some of saidens steps i couldnt follow as i didnt find those buttons i should hit lol still works to some extend
just make a particle system in max and export is with the civi exporter
and then add the texturing property to the particle system as it gets messed up
and relink the emitter to the nitristrips instead of the ninode of your emitter object (if you use meshemitter)
then order the modifiers and controllers under the particle system according to any reference file you have (the order seems important)
thats it
the steps in between saiden talks about are most likely to work it exactly as you intended cause as i said its kinda messed up still
