"First only the PC has modding possibilities, what about PS3 and Xbox 360, can't we be a bit happy for the fact that they get something like this."

Who cares about them? People are upset about the DLC because PC has had MULTIPLE buildable houses of good quality for some time. The money they spend on Beth's games is turned against us as bribe dollars, so really idk why anyone here cares what they think or want. They also put up with paid peer to peer multiplayer, on-disc day one DLC, forced console updates that put in ads and/or take out features, and maps copy/pasted from the last brown shooter in the franchise being sold as DLC. Have you ever stopped to consider the signals the console market is sending publishers? HINT: They aren't good ones.

Why is there this expectation that we should have any kind of sympathy for the console players? Every dollar spent by a console gamer is a dollar used by Microsoft and/or Sony to bribe devs to delay and cancel not only PC content but BUGFIXES (one week delay for critical Battlefield 3 patches -- including fixes to game-breaking exploits -- "thanks Sony PS3 is da best XD"). MS also pays devs to use GFWL, targeting high-profile releases and especially games that are "better on PC" like Bethesda games and the new Batman games.

I'm upset because this DLC is basically wasted development effort for me, since I've been using Build Your Own Home for months and loving it. I honestly don't care if the console market has access to that content or not since they choose to support companies that are literally as bad as EA and Actiblizzard, but I don't want Bethesda spending resources on it when they could be developing story-heavy DLCs with new gameplay mechanics (VL, crossbows) and full voice acting like Dawnguard (read: projects that are very difficult for modders and require big, dedicated teams).

xD your are the funniest troll ive seen here around. Ignorants like you just see their own little world. Its ok if you dont give a damn about others. But saying that the DLC is wasted? Thats the biggest lie ever. You can say whatever you want but the build your own house mod
isnt even far as good as the stuff beth does so stop complaining about getting better scripted stuff so your house mod can be improved. You should be a little more thankfull you little brat!

My Thoughts;

As far as building housing goes, Isn't there already a mod for that..? There is also a mod for adopting children, although there are not many options with that. But still, this could be a good thing for Skyrim. I mean, if they do it now, it might be a main feature in the next ES game, who knows? But you know..spending roughly $20 for a house-building add-on when you could download the mod version free seems kind of...Unless, they add in more features, like..I dunno'...new pets, work your own stables, providing/finding food for your kids...By now i'm just fishing for ideas.. o_e;
What do you guys think? :O

Kittyeh, It's Only FIVE dollars. And while they are already mods for that, One can assume that this was made for Consoles in Mind. Then again most people will forget that anyway, because they feel that consoles hog the dev time for their precious PC games. (I'm not a fan of PC elitist, just for future reference, not calling you one, but just look down a few pages.)

This dlc is badly made. Everything u purchase its placed on scripted location.Its just like mod we have on nexus. Its not that of a size that bethesda told us they will make every dlc... huge , not like in previos game, oblivion... Maybe they should put seasonal foliage in next dlc and send it on the market.I think modders are the ones who need more spotlight, and be paid.

why can any one even complain, seriously this mod brings more content for us modders to use in our mods, and for 5 bucks thats pretty reasonable seeing as though they are a company who has to pay bills and their employees. bethesda is not going to release another big dlc for a couple months and right after dawnguard came out, there going to release small DLCs that are fun to play with and mod with. and this dlc can make the house mods on the nexus with more capabilities. and bethesda did not "steal" the ideas of build your own home, adopt a child, etc. according to this video they were planning this DLC from February 9, before those mods even came out watch it and look at the date this was posted

I'll definitely buy it. A game studio which makes a game like Skyrim can't make a bad DLC, and the game jam is just great.

Yes Kittyeh, it's like Horse Armor, It's mostly there for Cosmetics.

@iggychunin Why would they put Seasonal Foilage in an area that is Mostly Tundra? Also this DLC WASN'T Supposed to be big in the first place
